This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I would like to know if one of these remedies regrows the bone loss.

One potential cause of dental bone loss is osteoporosis drugs like fosamax. If that is the problem, it may first be necessary to stop that drug or switch to something else.

Is the bone loss = degeneration of the jaw bone ?? Which side of the face ?

And what other problems you have in the eye / retina?
Did you get it checked from a Retina specialist ?

Any past history of TB in yourself or family ?

Probably, your condition is not simple.

pankaj varma: hi. the lower front teeth are loose due to bone loss. the right eye has nerve damage from inflamation when i was 17 and smoking cigarettes, a cataract, and a membrane around retina following iritis and steroid drops and one steroid injection. no tb in family. father had dyptheria. i saw a retina specialist. he said membrane was causing swelling. nothing serious. just blurred vision. i also have arthritis and spur in left hip from fall. and had stiches in head from falls when young. am recovering from fall on chin 3 weeks ago. broke jaw on left side and in chin. had plate inserted in chin and teeth wired shut for left jaw to heal. lost several teeth as well. am taking symphytum 9c and calceria phosphoricum 6c until i can get cal phos 6x for jaw fracture. arnica 6c for pain and swelling. lachesis 12c for cough and well-being. rhus tox 7c for loose teeth and well-being. kali phos 7c for loose teeth and to counter coldness. and merc sol 9c for loose teeth and insomnia. i also have tension in neck probably from a whiplash car accident when i was young. i'm 58 years old. have a psychiatric disability which i attribute to over-sensitivity. thanks. tom

Hi Tom,
You are taking a lot of remedies. It might be quite overwhelming on your body, and so it may just do nothing! Usually in homeopathy it is only one remedy at a time- one that covrs all your symptoms at present moment (rishimba has a nice questionnaire somewhere here, maybe you could fill it).
But if some emergency happens, like fall, you immediately take a remedy for it- like arnica, or if smth is fractured-symphytum usually, or if insets bite-ledum or apis etc

You also do things for your health that are beyond homeopathy.
Perfect for fractures: If you can buy symphytum (comfrey) root as herb, make poultice (add small amount of boiling water and let it stand for a while) and cover your fracture with compress made from it.

Loose teeth after a fall attach again if held in place - I know, first hand experience: I ran to the ball and hit someone's head with my face- 3 front teeth turned almost horizontal - after a week they were normal and as strong as before. You need to have strong gums though. Once a day massage them with myrrh
(dip wet finger in the powder from capsule).

To counter coldness you need a massage, or just rub your palms and feet even 100 times. Taking cold/hot showers (always finish cold) is good for circulation.

For retina do palming: cover your closed eyes with cupped palms (start with 15 min first week, later even 1 hr/day or more!) - when retina is well and relaxed you will see only 'blackness',, it may take some time but it is worth it!

astra 2012: the teeth were evidently loose before fall, according to the oral surgeon. the says they are caused by bone loss due to aging. thanks. tom

pankaj varma: the tension in right ear is a cracking which became very pronounced when i took merc. sol. when i woke up and couldn't sleep around 2:00am. thanks. tom

Tom - do not believe for a second that aging causes bone loss and loose teeth. Doctors blame aging quite often because they have no idea 'why else'.

Hello Tom,
Is any time of the day better or worse than others? Any season? Do you feel warmer/colder than others?

It is excellent that you have such high body awareness (/I'm refering here to the part of rhus-t and meditation).

1. Eyes:
can you see that band in the mirror?
Did you try palming? Any light you 'see' when you cover your eyes comes from retina. What do you 'see' when you cover your eyes? 5 min later? can you ever 'see' total blackness?
What is your vision? What do you see (like colors, halos around light etc)?

you have band and cataract on the same (right)eye?

2.arthritis--which joints are affteected?since when?

3.teeth-can you describe your gums around loose teeth? tongue?
is it osteoporosis-bone lost everywhere in the body, or just in jaw?

4. Perspiration- always the same? any smell (remember, nobody is judgemental here)?

5. the cracking in left ear
always the same?

astra2012: nerve damage, cataract and band around retina all in right eye. used to like evening, not morning. since fall, haven't noticed a difference. winter is nice. easier to dress. summer's ok. when weather changes alot, more difficult. fell on left hip some years ago. arthritis in hip. tension in neck and fingers. perspiration ok. no smell. like seafood, cheese, deserts and soups and cold drinks. like chocolate and vanilla. cracking in left ear is lessened by swedish herbs (aloe vera and bitter hers). don't notice alot. was very pronounced though last night when i took merc. sol. at 2:00am to get back to sleep. tom

Hi Tom-you answered many of my questions but not all (like about eyes)

Also: what was first? arthritis in hip or cataract? What happened in your life at that time? Since your right eye is affected and then left ear-could it be that ear noises started after the fall on left side?

Tell me more about that inflammation that you blame for damaging your nerve (is it OPTIC nerve?)

Astra2012 last decade
astra2012: it is optic nerve. cataract was first i think. in any case, they were unrelated, occurred at different times in my life. ear came before fall. had that 20-30 years ago. inflamed optic nerve occurred when i was about 16, was smoking cigarettes and playing loud rock music in a band. i don't cup eyes. was suggested several years ago. doesn't appeal to me. i eat ice cream and chocolate milk before bed. don't go to bed without eating first. very rarely. tom

tomdreskin last decade
do you see anything with that right eye? (cover your left eye)
do you remember what caused that inflammation?
