This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Your question is interesting as no one has asked it of me before. As one who has been trying to help others to overcome their ailments it is a refreshing topic which I shall try to answer below.

I believe that the first requirement for health is not to overeat. Eat just enough to be comfortable. I avoid red meat and love fish which we have in abundance here in Sri Lanka. Fruits and veggies are also essential. I do not smoke or drink alcohol except a small glass of wine about once a month.

I do not take any vitamins, minerals etc which I am aware is daily routine in the life of those who live in the developed world. Also I do not use any drugs, I mean allopathic drugs and I have not used them for the last 30 years except when I was in surgery 4 years ago when I was on a 21 day course of the antibiotic post surgery.

Daily exercise is essential. At my age of 77 years I still find time to do at least 15 and usually 30 minutes of walking which I do now in my garden with my iPod playing my favourite classics in my ears.

Drink at least 4 ltrs of liquids daily. I have my own well water in Colombo which is a luxury that very few can boast of and this gives us a plentiful supply of fresh water without chlorine. We still boil and filter it for the record although it has been tested and is bacteria free.

I do not ever get uptight even when the whole world seems to crash down. I always will myself to be relaxed. I never get angry and lose my temper.

I always try to be of assistance to others in any way I can. My motto is
'I generate Happiness'.
I do so without any expectation of even a word of thanks and am convinced that the good God repays me with my present state of happiness and health which at age 77 is a great gift which I treasure for the rest of my life.

I have taken Arnica for the last 11 years daily and am convinced that it is responsible for my present state of wellness with BP 120/80 and pulse 65. I can honestly state that I do not have any aches or pains that anyone my age usually has.

I would recommend that those who read this post also use this amazing remedy which I believe can help anyone if Arnica 6c is used in the wet dose every night when it will promote deep restful uninterrupted sleep.

I prescribe Rhus Tox 30c for any arthritic pain and it may help your problem with your toe. The Arnica that you are also taking will help in the long term but the Rhus T may not be used for over 2 weeks.

I have no experience with Castor oil packs and cannot imagine how it can help your toe as you will have to take it internally and suffer the resultant diarrhoea.

hi joe, the castor oil packs is done this way, one will need a heat substance like water bottle, electric blanket, soak some rags (wool) in castor oil then place rags on injured part of body with heat applied for any lenght of time. google edgar casey. he has some good info.

i will try the rhus for a couple of weeks. along with the heat packs

thanks again
