Neurological Problem - Please advise

Hi,
My uncle aged 50 years is suffering from neurological problem. He has cramp in wrist, palm and fingers of right hand.

1. Problems in writing :-

a. Stiffness of the hand while writing.
b. Unable to hold pen or pencil normally.
c. Needs to put extra pressure to hold the pen to write.
d. Feels little better to write if the hand is kept in rest upto elbow on the desk and to keep rest up to wrist only on the desk and keeping upper part of the hand as hanging

2. Problems in eating :-

It is a great problem to mix food with the fore finger. Whenever he tries to do so the fore finger strikes up which obstructs taking food with fingers altogether and put it into mouth..

3. Problems in operation of Computer key board :-

Unable to put fore, middle and ring fingers on keys normally, need to put extra pressure on keys which hindrances the accuracy of the work as well as reduction in speed.

4. Others :-

a. While holding a paper and putting it on to the other side, while switching on or while switching off, while holding latches etc - hand gets jerked on the wrist towards the opposite.

b. On standing in the bus, if he clutches the rod for some time the thumb, fore, middle and ring fingers gets numb.

c. Fingers get numb even while shaving i.e., holding razor for some time.

d. Always feel heavy and a dull pain in the entire right hand which gives relaxation with massage.

e. Feels pain and stiffness in the wrist, while bending it on either side feels pain on the upper side of the palm.

He is suffering for the last 20 years, & consulted many Orthopaedists, Neurologists doctors - they gave anti drugs, stimulations but didn’t get any result.

It will be of great help if the respected Homeopaths of this forum advise on the necessary course of actions/ remedies.

With Best Regards

Anjan

Hi Dr. Sharma,

Feedback:
Oct 1, 2006 – Started the remedy process. Had one dose of Causticum 1M in the morning. Also started the Gelsemium 6 thrice daily.

Oct 7, 2006 – Feedback. No noticeable change excepting in one instance over the week he had to stand in the bus, clutched the rod for some time. However, there was no numbness of the fingers.

Oct 8, 2006 – Second dose of Causticum 1M. Continuing with the Gelsemium 6 thrice daily. Waiting for feedback from uncle.

Question
My uncle bought the remedies in globules of no. 20 size.

1. We have confusion as how many globules should make one dose?
2. Is it advisable to use liquid dose instead? If yes, how many drops should make one dose? Do they need to be taken with water. If yes, how many teaspoons?

Sorry to bug you with the basics. But I understand size / largeness of the dose makes a difference. Please advise.

With Best Regards,

Anjan
