Chronic chalazions are out of control

I had never had a stye or chalazion before last year. In early October of last year I developed a what became a chalazion. Then I started to develop more and more and had four of them removed by the conventional butchery. In less than a years time, I have suffered 15 chalazions and needless to say, I look like hell. Strangely enough. It started when I started eating more organic food. Washing does not help, nor does flax seed oil, arnica, atimonium, silicea, grated potatoes, or tea bags. Has anyone heard of such a chronic case? What am I supposed to do when the natural remedies don't work? I can't get my eyelids chopped up 6 times a year.

I have had a chalazion on my bottom right eyelid, my upper right eyelid and my left upper eyelid. The first was a pain, the second worse, and the third the worst. The day my second one dissapeared I woke up with a swolen right eye. Very upset, because my last one, which lasted 5-6 months had JUST gone away. My doctor told me to walk my swolen eye OFF. THAT IS NOT THE ANSWER. I had to depend on the internet to get REAL answers to prevent these horrible lumps which made life so difficult. The way I treated it, which only took TWO months, was by adding a warm cloth(wash cloth) to my affected eyelid THE DAY IT BECAME SWOLLEN 4 times a day for 20 mintues for the next 2 months. Once the cyst formed a whitehead, I tried and POPPED the cyst, draining the fluid. My doctor told me not to, but this cyst went away FOUR months before my last one following doctor instruction. Now, after my last one went away, I have been free of them for about 1 year. The BEST WAY to PREVENT A CHALAZION is by cleaing your eyelids(BOTH) with your hands in the shower each day with soap and drying with towel once out of the shower. This way your eyelids stay clean all day, and very get dirty and oily. Another tip, staying up really late adds stress to your eyes and increases the oil on your eyelids. If you feel like your eyes are oily or hurt, WASH IMMEDIATELY. About FOUR months ago I woke up with a SWOLLEN eye and almost started crying cause I didnt want another one. My eye turned red and I knew I was screwed. But instead of walking it off, I cleaned it constantly, and by the end of the day it was gone. Also, once you get rid of one, you are prone to many more, SO CLEAN THROUGHLY AND DO NOT MISS A DAY. YOU INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF GETTING ONE. DO all this and you will NEVER HAVE ONE AGAIN FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE I GUARANTEE IT.

To Klaus and John

I have been a fellow sufferer for some years till I discovered that Arnica 30c which I used in place of Hytrin which I was prescribed way back in 1996 for my prostate which fortunately did not help me and that was when I used Arnica which fixed my prostate and also my Styes.

I note that Klaus had not had any success with Arnica and I hope that he used the 30c potency. Like you Klaus I too have had 5 surgical adventures and mercifully this is now history but even today history has a habit of repeating itself if I do not take Arnica nightly which I have now done since 1996. If you are interested please search for Arnica in the cage on the left of this page and read the many uses I have discovered for Arnica.

I have been clear of Styes and Chalazions for many years but discover very occasionally that there are still some hard bits that exude from the hair follicles in the eyelids which can be classified as 'dry Styes ' They would obviously have formed into the wet styes were it not for the Arnica I take nightly.

I have advised the use of Arnica in the wet dose 1 teaspoonful twice daily for fellow sufferers. The latest is advising the damping with the water from the bottle directly on the eyelids as this helps in their resolution.

Fomenting is also advised as often and as long as is possible.

Please report your respective responses from time to time.

Hi Everyone!!! If You Have A Chalazion You Must Not Try To Pop It!!! Do Not Go See The Doctor Unless The Described Method Does Not Work!!! Buy Some Ginger In Its Raw Form At Your Local Grocery Store, You Will Find It In The Fruits & Vegetables Section, For about 5-10 Cents You Can Buy Enough!!! Take It Home Go In Front Of A Mirror, Slice The Ginger With A Knife And You Will Notice What Looks Like Water Left On The Blade, Sweep Your Finger Across The Side Of The Knife To Pick Up The 'Water' And Gently Apply It To The Lump On The OUTSIDE Of Your Eyelid, Make Sure You DO NOT Get Any Of The Liquid From The Ginger In Your Eye! I Had One Of these Things And I Heard Ginger Worked So I Tried This Method And In ONE Week, After ONE Application, It Was Completely Gone!! It May Take More Than One Application (If Its Really Bad, You Tried To Pop It, etc.) Please Be Careful, Remember Not To Irritate or Play With It Aside From The Treatment, It Needs To Be Left Alone! Good Luck!
