Stuffy Nose and Itchy Throat

This is for my 6 year old child. He always has a stuffy nose and post nasal drip. His throat is very scratchy and itchy. especially the tonsils. His tonsils are not enlarged.
He has itching in the ears also. He used to get ear infections till the age of four. Occasionally he complains about pain in the back of the head. I doubt he has allergies, but he doesn't sneeze much.

His nature - Emotional. easily gets angry. cries easily. He is moody in the mornings. says doesn't want to go to school.

Still sucks his thumb to go to sleep. Head sweats while sleeping. In the daytime his feet is chilly and uses a blanket cover up. but in the night pulls out from the blanket.

Pls suggest a suitable remedy.

Ars alb helped him a lot with his stuffy nose. But now the remedy is stopped he again started having scratchy throat and ears.
I feel ars. alb. worked as palliative but didn't cure the problem.

I gave him Nat Mur. 6c, that too helped reduce the itching of throat.

Is a constitutional remedy recomended ?
