white patches

My friends daughter of ten yrs has white patches for the last two years and is undergoing professional homoeopathic treatment but has shown very little improvement. Innitially there was a small patch of about 5mm in diameter on the hip. Soon after administering homoeopathy medicine (from the otherwise renowned clinic who promised to cure her within a year) patches have started appearing on her thigh, lower abdomen, neck and eyelids and temples. Its about two years that she is undergoing treatment. Few of the patches have cleared off , but otherwise most of the patches still remain. As you know that in India almost none of the homoeopathic practioners do not provide any prescription for any treatment in homoeopathy and hence the constitution of medicine remains unknown.
Is there any homoeopathy medicine or homoeopathy ointment to be applied locally.
Moreover should the treatment take so long to get cured?
Or should my friend take recourse to allopathy (though she is worried about the side effects of allopathy) or should she start with natupopathy?
Can her homoeopathy treatment go hand in hand with allopathy(ointment, oral drugs) or naturopathy? Kindly suggest. As to my knowledge she does not have any history of skin disorders in her family(either her mother or her father).

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
For skin ailment allopathy noway that will suppress and the diseases will go into the organs. So you have to stick with homeopathy. If you had not had any bit of improvement in 2 years, then you can start thinking about changing the homeopath. You may want to choose one experienced one who will be transparently discussing with you about remedies and course of treatment as you ve already lost 2 years. But if you had improvement under current homeopath stick to him. About time frame its fairly enough 2 years time period for a 10 year old child to recover though it could depend up on individual constitution.

You can post patient's past medical history and other current symptoms so someone here may help.
