[insert cure for folliculitis]

I am: 19 year old female. Tall build, thin and not in the best of health. I have never had a strong immune system and was often sick as a child. Meat eater, lack of veggies in diet due to intestinal problem. Willing to work with diet if suggested.
Problem: folliculitis on arms and legs. The bumps are not raised on my skin. Rather they are deep, embedded and very red. They itch and are very uncomfortable. My thighs are especially covered and each hair folicle seems to be infected.
Past treatments: I have exfoliated the skin and used a germ killing soap such as dial. I have used antibiotics yet my body seems to resist them. I have most recently used Ammonium Lactate 12% lotion, twice daily.
None have helped. I am upset that none of the professionals I have gone to have truely tried to help.
Only caution: I take lithium by prescription daily.

I am open to and appreciate all suggestions. I am desperate.

Please help. For those who do, I thank you in advance. Please be blunt with me for I am oblivious to quantity intake and homeopathic terminology.

I do not have a camera but this is a very similar situation. The only exception is that I have female leg hair that is fine, blonde and now completely trapped in the hair folicles. I have not shaved but there is no leg hair visible.
