Joe De Livera - Asthma help please

dear joe,

I am new to this forum but have been reading the posts for a while now. i noticed that most posts are addressed to you and was awed to see how many people you have helped so far. i also noticed that you help them free of charge, selflessly, successfully and encourage posting here rather than your email so that others can benefit.

as the title indicates, i am looking for help for asthma of my son who will be 6 in november. he has eczema and asthma both. i have tried the arnica 6c for his eczema but he did not benefit from it. i have tried different other remedies as well, but always have to go back to steroids for his skin disorder.

as a result of suppressing his eczema he has ashtma frequently and i will try to write the symptoms as clearly as possible. one thing i want to stress on very much is his allergies. he has multiple food allergies plus environmental allergies. he has grass, pollen, dust mites, stuffed animal, fish, nuts, wheat, soy, milk allergies. you name it, he has it. now that he is going to school he is no longer under a protected environment anymore and has frequent attakcs because he is exposed to all the triggers. he has asthma attack almost everyweek and they make him so weak and fragile. he is underweight, skinny and always looks tired. he cannot run, he cannot have ice-cream or anything cold, he is being deprived of all the fun that kids of his age enjoy.

as soon as he is exposed to any of the triggers, his nose starts having watery discharge - nonstop. that is my first indication that he is going to have an attack. soon he starts coughing and sneezing continuously. the frequency of the cough increases and soon he is only coughing and coughing. dry, hard, loud coughs. his chest and stomach hurts. his throat hurts and he cries in pain. nebulisers and inhalers help him for the time being but it always comes back in a few days.

Joe, i am so so frustrated as a mother. it breaks my heart to see my boy so weak and sad all the time. he is a happy boy, but always sick. i read shiny's post with great interest and was amazed at how you helped him despite his reluctance. your zeal to help others benefitted mihir to such a grt extent. yesterday nite, my son had another attack and now he is in bed coughing and wheezing. i am started him on nat sulp therapy yesterday night. he had the attack nevertheless because i think it took me some time to go to the store and get the medicine. i am going to give it tonite again and report back.

i also noted that you advice on keeping ars alb 200c. it will take me some time for me to get this remedy, we dont have homeopathy stores where i live in the US.

Joe, I am begging for your help. i know you are busy, i know its long distance. but please help my son out of his misery. I am new to this forum but have been reading the posts for a while. i have faith in homeopathy and have seen how people 'develop' faith in you. please monitor my son;s case and give him a better life.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

I can sense the trauma that you are daily undergoing with you son.

I am glad to note that you have read the 2 other relevant posts of Shiny and Fauzia and you now know the therapy that I have recommended which has worked for their children. I presume that you are aware that it may take a few days before your boy can get some relief but in the case of both children of the mothers above, there seemed to be almost immediate relief when their respective children were able to breathe easily and did not require their inhalers and other steroids any more.

The remedy I have used successfully in both cases is Nat Sulph 6c which is to be given in a teaspoonful just once daily. After you have used it for a few days and when you have some noticeable improvement in his Asthma, you can then change over to the Split dose which I believe you already know how to make.

You will also keep some Ars Alb 200 in the dry dose pellets which you will keep on standby just in case he gets an attack for which you would normally have used the inhaler or nubulizer which will not be needed any more. Just 4 pellets under the tongue will stop the attack in about 15 minutes and he will be able to breathe easily.

As for his Eczema which you state has not been helped by Arnica 6c, I feel that the Asthma comes first. You can continue to give him a teaspoonful twice daily and you can use the new technique that I have recently discovered of dabbing the lesions with the water remedy from the bottle often to keep them wet as this too helps with the Arnica 6c in the wet dose which you can also give him as indicated.

You are welcome to keep me posted with your boy's response and I would ask you and your husband to not lose hope that he will soon be helped and hopefully cured.

You may investigate the possibility of some foods like milk or wheat products that may exacerbate his Eczema and Asthma and it is up to you to figure out if there is connection.

I would recommend that he is not given any drugs and creams that you have been using in the past for his ailments.

thank you for writing back. we had a tough day so far. my son had a very serious attack today and had to take the nebuliser and the inhalers. i know homeopathy takes time and since his case is very acute, i am going to be very patient. i will give him nat sulph in the wet dose every night and keep you informed.
i will take your advice and also try to avoid some of the food mentioned. meanwhile i will try to order ars alb online since its not available in the stores here. i will also try to make asthma the priority now and treat it before i focus on his eczema.

i truly appreciate your help and guidance and will keep you informed of my son's health condition.
