antidoting
I just recently started homeopathic treatment and was unaware before I started of how 'fragile' the cure is! Still, I'm trying to do my best with it. My question concerns paint. In some places (including the information sheet my doctor gave me), paint is listed as an antidote. Is it possible to avoid antidoting by wearing a mask while painting? Is it the smell of the paint that antidotes, or simply inhaling in to the body? In other words, if I can't smell, am I okay? Thanks in advance.saguy75 on 2006-10-13
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If your medicine is correct, it can't be antidoted that easily.
Don't bother about antidoting while painting. Anyway wearing a mask while painting is good for your lungs too. : )
Continue all your normal activities.

Dear saguy, mostly agreed with Murthy above, although, I would add the following: Smells do not readily ANTIDOTE remedies, unless they are present at the time of administration, but they can stop them from acting if they are persistent. Therefore paint could cause problems due to how long it lingers (I have personally experienced this), and if possible this should be avoided during treatment, as any reaction will be delayed.
