Red swelling and rashes all over the body, itching

I am a 36 year old male and I frequently get red rashes (swelling) all over the body and this remains for about 30 minutes. After that, it disappears only to appear in some other place. Therefore I continously have this in one part of the skin or other. Allopathy doctors prescribed medicines like Elina, Cetricine, Lezyncet, etc. The relief after taking this tablet is there for 3 to 4 days and I need to take one tablet every 3-4 days to avoid itching and rashes. I have tried not taking milk, wheat etc. and found that they were not the causes for these rashes and itching. Possibly I think taking protien rich substances increase the itching and frequency of rashes. If I get these rashes and itching in the night my sleep gets distrubed. Can homeopathy help in getting permanent cure against this red rashes and itching of skin? Please help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
When did this problem start?

Can you identify a reason which triggered it the first time?

Does the rashes remain on one part or the other throughout the day/night?

what is the size of swelling?

What is the effect of hot water application on the rashes?

What is the effect of cold water on the rashes?

What are the areas you get these rashes?

Did you ever see a classical homeopath for your problem?

what are your likes and dislikes?

Do you prefer a warm climate or a cold climate?

Describe yourself, the best way you can.

Thank you Mr. Murthy.

1) I think the problem started after I had a cold during July 2002. I had taken some antibiotic for cure from cold.

2) I do not the know exact reason why this was triggered for the first time.

3) The rashes come all over the body, mostly in chest, neck, hands, etc. but keeps coming in different places

4) The size of the swelling is very small, may be like dots

5) No I have not tried using hot water specifically

6) No I have not tried using cold water specifically

7) The rashes come all over the body

8) No I have not consulted a homeopath

9) My wife tells me that I keep worrying about small issues

10) I prefer warm climate. Till June 2000, I was in Madras and I shifted to Mumbai in June 2000 and live here since then

11) I am a simple person with extremely careful attitude.

Dear Dr. Saroj,

Thanks for your concerned queries.

a) I feel a burning sensation when the rashes and itching appear

b) I am unable to determine the environment clearly. But I have found that the impact of this condition is severe in rainy and winter seasons. But I am not sure.

c) The itching is bearable but with lot of strength. I feel relieved for 3-4 days if I take a tablet of elina, lycenzet, cetricine, etc.

d) I like taking food stuffs hot. I do not like items like ice cream, cold drinks, etc.

e) I try to avoid food items that are cold, though some times I take ice cream. But I am unable to correlate taking ice cream and rashes, itching of skin.

f) I will notice the applicatiion of hot and cold water on these rashes and report.

g) I am unable to correlate any specific diet to this rashes and itchy skin. However, of late I have come to notice that there could be some link between throat infection and rash, itchy skin. I unable to state this with cetainity.

Kindly guide.

Alagu

Hi Alagu

It is very important to know whether hot water application makes any difference to the itching.

Similarly you should also try with cold water too, and observe.

I leave it to Dr.Saroj to handle your case.

meanwhile post response tothese questions.
