Why this name Bandarbabu 2000

Bandar, now known as Machilipatnam is a coastal town in Andhrapradesh,India.

It has got a rich heritage, being the first port, in entire south India, and the second muncipality in india.

I belong to Bandar and hence the name Bandarbabu. When i tried to create an id 'bandarbabu' on yahoo, it refused as another name already exists.

so,I added 2000 and got registered.

I am proud to be called Mr.Bandar,in case somebody wants. : )

Murthy

P.S. For those not familiar with Hindi Bandar means monkey in that language.

Hi Nadia

Yes. I love the sound of my own voice. : )

Perhaps you are not aware of the background. Let me tell you.

I have been given the title of homeopathic constable by our beloved brothers here.

I want to do justice to it,and want to do that job in all seriousness.

Moreover,I have some patients here, and it will be convenient for them to know, when I will be online.

Regarding my name some people started calling me Mr.Bandar which in the Hindi dialect of India means Mr.Monkey.

I wanted to clarify to them that there is a town called Bandar, and I am proud to be called to be called Mr.Bandar.

Murthy,
Sadly ...in 2003 /2004 you did not know that Bandargah means port town. And port cites have 'Bandar' as part of their name. (Like Bori-bandar, Bombay)

I had to tell you that ...and it is some where there in the Archives.

Don't want to waste time digging that post out.
