any ideas? please

hi everyone,
i was on a while ago about a lump i had under my bellybutton to the left handside and got it checked and was told i had a kidney stone but couldn't see anything about the lump, the person who did the scan said i probably had a wee hernia on my bowel because it was the only part of me that couldn't be scanned and to check back to my gp in 7-10 days,i slipped a disc in my back and was unable to go see him until today, a month later. well i told him everything she said and he sort of passed it all off, he said i dont think its your bowel sure its deep down and your lump is not, i think its in your skin somewhere, but its not because i have a stretch mark directly above the lump and you can put your finger right through to feel it, i know its not on the skin so i disagreed with him, he told me nothing could be done that i just had to stick the pain and i went mad, so i told him i wanted it took away that i didn't care what it was that 6 weeks of pain from it is long enough so he is sending me to a surgeon, i'm still really angry with his attitude, no-one should have to put up with pain and he should have investigated the lump further to find out what is was, i've had problems with my bowels for yrs due to food intolerances and i'm doing great taking nat phos and arnica but any ideas for the lump would be gratefully appreciated or any ideas at all.
