The ABC Homeopathy Forum
Simon.
Dear Simon, I'm sure we are all very happy for the 'introductions' thread above, which is a step in the right direction. However, a few points.
I think the word 'bias' may be a little too much, as it infers equality between the two methods, and this simply cannot be the case when one is founded upon the rules laid down by Hahnemann himself, and the other is in direct opposition to them. Maybe 'preference' would be a more suitable word?
Also, you have made no mention of the fact that the classical method as detailed in your post is in fact just this, the original method as laid down by Hahnemann. It is only a presentation of the truth, it is not giving credence to one side or the other, and I think people should be aware of this fact, then they make up their own minds?
Also, 'While homeopathic remedies are in themselves free of long term side effects, this can lead to other health problems while your immune system is directed to your initial symptoms.'
This simply isn't true. I have lost count over the years of how many cases I have had to treat for this very reason, the long term side effects caused by others prescribing, in fact I have one patient on my own forum right now who has been dosed all over the place in much the same manner as occurs here, and she is in a terrible state.
Additionally, would it not be a good idea to maybe detail what exactly ARE low potencies and which are considered high?
