GERD, asthma and hoarseness

I was recently diagnosed with GERD and was prescribed Nexium. My only symptom, loss of voice and sore throat, has been alleviated with the Nexium, but I prefer not to take more prescrips than I already am. I was previously told that I had nodules on my vocal chords but my ENT said either they are no longer there or it was a mistake. In college I was told I have 'exercise-induced asthma', which to me basically means i was out of shape. Four years ago I moved to the Washington DC area and my allergies and asthma got significantly worse. I am now taking Zyrtec, Singulair and Advair, which seem to help me. My allergies are mostly to indoor triggers (mold, dust mites) and the Zyrtec helps, but I'm wondering if my asthma and GERD might be linked. I also have a history of stomach problems - given a blanket diagnosis of IBS - which was ONLY relieved with a bland diet and no alcohol. I eat very healthy with the occasional pizza or fries. I am a 25 yr old female who's tired of not being heard!

thanks in advance for your help.

I have similar problems of asthma and loss of voice. After taking Joe's asthama remedy my voice has came back and asthma has significantly improved. Give it a try before any thing else.

To Asad

I am glad to see you on the ABC and to learn that your Asthma has improved and that your voice has stabilized.

In the case of Sultryvoz her case is due to her GERD which has been the direct cause of his Asthma which the Nexium that she is using can only exacerbate her condition.

Thank you for helping another patient on the ABC and please keep me posted with your progress from time to time. You do not need to take the Nat Sulph 6c wet dose daily as it is time to change over to the Split dose where you mix a teaspoonful in a half cup of water from which you will sip a teaspoonful once daily.

To Sultryvoz

You have two problems Asthma and GERD. The GERD many have been the cause of your Asthma but you have stated that you have had this ailment some years ago.

The remedy for Asthma is Nat Sulph 6c in the wet dose taken once daily and for your GERD you will use Nat Phos 6x tablets dose 3 tablets taken after 3 meals and Arnica 30c in the wet dose.

You will make the wet dose of both the Nat Sulph 6c and the Arnica 30c by inserting 3 pellets of the remedy into 2 separate 500ml bottles of spring water which you will clearly label and you will shake the bottle hard every time before you sip a teaspoonful in the case of the Arnica twice daily and in the case of the Nat Sulph just once daily.

I would prefer however that you do not use the Nat Sulph 6c for a week till your GERD is stabilized but you can take the Arnica 30c twice daily.

No coffee cola drinks and sausages, ham and bacon.

Do not eat a heavy dinner and eat it at least 3 hours before you go to sleep.

Report response in a few days.

This is what I said earlier on your thread.

Dear Joe

I am glad your prescription helped a patient.

The key to the success of Nat.Sulph is mentioned by the patient him/herself.

Quote

'I used to lose my voice in dump places such as offices and libraries.'

Obviously she meant 'in damp places.'

I told you previously that Nat.sulph is the most frequently indicated medicine for asthma, aggravation damp places.

If you care to dig deep into the posts of those who said your Nat.sulph helped them, you will obviously find this modality in them.

Your split dose recommendation of late, is one reason, why people are able to tolerate repetetion.

I again repeat Nat.sulph is not the only medicine for Ashtma. It is one of them.

If the asthma is completely relieved by Nat.sulph, it is beter to stop the medicine, and wait.

You can repeat the medicine by upping the potency slightly.

However, if Asthma has subsided and the patient is getting new troublesome symptoms, it is necessary to pause and re think.

Dear Sultryvoz

Homeopathy treats the complete person, with a single medicine given for a few days, until reaction sets in.

Wait for more responses, and meanwhile answer the above questions.

You are advised to ignore the ravings of this homeopathic parasite whose viciousness and hatred of others will be his downfall.

Joe De Livera last decade
Dear Joe

there is no need to get angry. I am just explaining Asad why Nat.sulph worked for him.

I am telling others that it may not work for them unless they too have the same modality of aggravation from dampness.

What is wrong with it?

Joe,

My asthma is much improved.Occasionally, I take Ars Alb when I feel any congestion in my chest mostly when I catch cold or there is sudden change in temperature. However, my overall resistance to asthma triggers has substantially improved. I am not taking any ventolin or other asthma drugs. Just to remind you that I was on such drugs for almost 10 years. During that period my asthma had never recovered to 100% even after taking oral steroids. My voice problem is totally cured which is great blessing for me.

I will start using split dose from today onwards. I have purchased Tuberculinum 200 and will take one dose in the night as you directed.

Tuberculinum 200 is in liquid form, how many drops should I take?

Regards and once again thanks for your great help.

To Asad

I am sure that your confirmation that my Nat Sulph 6c has helped your Asthma will make Murthy's brain BOIL over.

Anyway, thank you for your confirmation that it has helped you.

If you are sensitive to catching colds, Tuberculinum 200 will help you.

You can use just 1 drop in a spoonful of water which you can sip slowly.

Just for the record for both Murthy and me, I would appreciate if you will please give details of your Asthma from the beginning of your problem and how my therapy has helped you. This may help to prove to Murthy that his classical remedies are not what the patient wants.

You posted your problem to me some time ago and I prescribed my default remedy Nat Sulph 6c in the wet dose and this has helped you. If this did not help you, I would have prescribed another which is Blatta Orientalis 6c which I also use when the patient is not responding. It occurs to me that if you feel that you would like a change of your remedy you can use the Blatta O to observe if it can help you better.

If you are not using a twice daily inhalation of steam, please do so from today and you will discover the improvement in your condition.

Dear Asad

I am glad that you are getting benefitted by Nat.Sulph.

Even an accidental choice, if happens to be the similimum, works wonders in homeopathy.

All the best.

There is absolutely no question of my Nat Sulph therapy being a FLUKE. Murthy may like to know that I have over 50 patients whom I have helped and if he makes a search under ASTHMA he may succeed in identifying some of them.

It is very strange that only Murthy can identify a remedy with his Hyper classical brain which in his case he does only very rarely as his first option is to direct the patient to a classical homeopath who may even be a worse nut that he is himself. It is interesting to note that he has taken an aversion the Dr Bhatra's Clinics and I shal be interested to learn the reason why.

I am copying a post that I have made on another thread in response to his plea for a truce which I have copied below my reply.

Dear Murthy

I am happy to note that you are now responding positively to the dose that I am giving you of your own medicine.

I have used the same tactics that you have used against me, ever since you decided to infest the ABC recently and I can assure you that as long as you keep on attacking me, I shall continue to insult you in the same manner that you have done in the past till such time as you get it into your thick head that I am quite capable of paying you back with the same coin, and with interest.

I have often requested you politely to stay away from my posts to my patients who have already responded to my therapy. You often have confused them with your inane sermons about repetition of the remedy and other nonsense. You will note that in the past few days my patients have ordered you to SHUT UP, but unfortunately you do not seem to understand that instead of helping the cause of spreading your own interpretation of hyper classical homeopathy that you are determined to protect, for some reason I do not understand, you still persist in butting into my posts and this naturally compels me to retaliate in harsh language which I do not like to use against anyone unless they ask for it, as you have done.

The choice is in your own hands. KEEP OFF my patients in future and I shall not resort to attacking you wherever and whenever I can as I am now doing.

Go back to the Gentleman that you were 3 years ago when we were brothers on the ABC.

Dear Joe

Can't you convince the patient to follow your advice without taking my name?

If you look at the posts made by me, on this thread, I never uttered your name, and never said anything bad about you, in the posts addressed to the patient.

I am just discussing a prescription, it's usefulness and probable complications.

We may have many personal issues to settle, but, please understand, this is not the way to do it.

I have already opened a thread 'Dear Joe' for you to vent out all your frustration.

I will bring it up again. Please come there. We will discuss about the correctness of our philosophies there.

Stick to the point.

Joe, Murthy, stop baiting each other. Neither of you are innocent, and I'm sure both of you will say that the other started it. The important thing is that you BOTH have to stop it.

Joe, Murthy has the right to post in threads where you have already answered.

Dear Simon

I will stop it.

Hereafter, I will not respond to his name calling, and leave it to you to control it.

I will discuss issues only.

This is ridiculous. I post a question regarding an issue I'm having and now I have almost 20 emails of people ranting back and forth at each other. I dont think I can take anyone on this forum seriously.
