I disagree with you. My homeopath expired in 1999. After this I could not really find one whose medicines suited me so much.
Anyway, his prescriptions always had 3 medicines - one in high potency a single or two doses. The other two were to be taken from the next day for 2 weeks only then report back. He has always helped my case a lot. You may go to 'Multiple problems Help'.
Then the medicines from Bioforce - Fiebreisan (throat remedy) and Biotussin (for porblems from the bronchus) heva always helped as has Ruta Pentarkan (Now discontinued) by Schwabe. All who took these in our family swear by them.

I didn't want to do any discussion on the guidelines thread, as in the guise of discussion,my posts are being vandalised.
We will discuss here.
I gave the reasoning behind why a single remedy alone should be selected at a time.
I don't know how old are you, but, I am sure all your problems would have been solved by now, had your doctor followed the methods of classical homeopathy.
Giving relief is not the aim of homeopathy. That can be done with allopathy also.
What is expected of homeopathy is cure. A problem for which you took treatment should disappear forever.
I got 'cured' of my heel spurs. They won't bother me again in my life time.
My wife got cured of chronic acidity, (she was hospitalised to remove the excess gas from the stomach, by tubes ,a couple of times.) She used to complain of bloating atleast 300 days out of 365 days in an year.
Now, since the last two years, she has forgotten what is acidity. She got cured.
There are many examples I can give.
Just pause and think..
Has any of your problems disappeared ,never to return again?
Are you in better health, without the disease appearing in higher organs?
We will discuss further.

As far as I know there are no classical homeopaths nearby. The topmost are giving 2-3 remedies per day.
My Sir as long as he was alive was slowly taking me towards cure. My aneurysm happened bcause another doctor(one of the topmost, but who didnt know my case) gave me Causticum 50 M. When my Sir came to know about it he was sad. Ha said that the diplopia I used to keep on getting was an indication of this and he was trying to cure me with homeopaty. My diabetes and HBP surfaced only 2 months after he died. Before that once my pressure had shot up and he controlled it whereby it remained controlled for 2 years till his death. He never really cared much for money and used to spend 1 hour per case if needed.

In Calcutta we have very good homeopaths, but the medicine should suit the patient. I have seen all have their own pet medicines which they have studied comprehensively. One of the topmost treated me continuously for 6 months to no avail, BUT he was the one who had saved the ife of my grandfather when all doctors gave up. He also gives one med in 1M and 2 more in different potencies. He also mixes a few, some with Belladonna 3 which has helped many. My sister in USA swears by his combinations.

Many factors are involved, two medicines may make a third medicine and it could be more potent or could be just dud. It is a random walk. Many medicines are considered sister medicines and many opposite, depends upon one person's experience but other's experience may be opposite.
Unfortunately many people are destroying homeopathy by enforcing one book they believe. Father of homeopathy was doing experiments till his last breath. He instructed his pupils to keep doing experiments.

Yes. He was updating his thoeries,basically regarding posology.(The science of potencies and method of administration.)
He too experimented with combinations/alternating medicines and found them to be not suitable.
I also agree that as on now, there is no way to know how homeo medicines work.
It is the very reason, to avoid the unchartered path, as it may be dangerous to experiment with the unknown.
The majority of the doctors, and authors of homeopathy of the yester years, who spanned through out the last 200 years, practiced classical homeopathy and got good results.
