The ABC Homeopathy Forum

cannot get rid of 5 year olds cough.

my son has always suffered from bouts of broncitis and unfotunately untill recently has been treateed with inhalers, antibiotics etc.
this time i don`t think his cough means broncitis but not sure.at the moment his cough is worse in the morning 7-8,every second breath is a cough, sometimes he sneezes at the end.today it started off dry but after 1 hour could hear some phlegm coming up.it exhausts him and is very hard on the ear.ha asked for a hot drink.he is always thirsty and drinks lots of water and juice.it seems to be better outdoors.he was tested for allergies but has none.
i have given him just 2 doses of aconite 30 one week, then i dose of drosera 1m the next week.after this he developed a rash and i thought his cough was leaving him but this is not the case.his rash is gone but he is still coughing.i live in a humid climate.any more suggestions?he really wants to get better :(

Aconite is a medicine which isa given in only the initial phase. Suppose you get fever/cold after being exposed to cold or even sleeping in AC , a few doses are enough to abort the disease. If it doesn't get aborted, after giving aconite for a couple of days , medicine is given on symptoms.

Based on the symptoms you can give the child Bryonia 200 alternating with Ipecac30 (his tongue is not white, I hope) two doses each . After each dose, a gap of 3 hours.
Hopefully his cough will go.
Give this for a couple of days and check his throat .
If it is red, replace Ipecac30 with Belladonna 30 and give for another couple of days

Senega is a good remedy for cough which ends in sneezing

Mother tincture will be best
