About taking remedies

I'm quite new to homeopathy and I'm going to take sulphur and petroleum for a skin condition among other things (you might have read my previous post). I'm just wondering how about nutrition during that time? Is there anything to think about? I am wondering especially about sugar and artificial sweeteners.
I also read here that you can't use mint or camphor because it might affect the result. But how about other herbals? I use to drink chamomille and raspberry leaf tea. And could u use calendula cream or anything else as a moisturer during the time of taking these remedies?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
try to avoid any substance which has a sharp and lingering smell.

excess of sweets, sour, coffee, raw onions or garlic are not recommended. mint or camphor may affect the result.

its better not to use any cream on the eczema during the treatment.

Thank you for replying. It's just that I have a very hard time bending my fingers if i don't moisturize them, so is it ok to use olive oil or better not?

Dear Dalia, only take one remedy at a time, taking more than one is not Homoeopathy. You should also take the remedy for a short period only 1-3 days, and then stop, and wait for an improvement.

You may also want to look into Nitric acid to see if this fits your personality type, which the prescription should be based upon.

Good luck.

Also, apply nothing whatsoever to the skin.

Ok actually i forgot to write that I am supposed to take Sulphur first and then petroleum after stopping for a week. Dr Rishimba prescribed it he knows his field. But what did u mean the prescription should be based on nitric acid??

Sorry i was hasty in reading, I got what u meant now. Will see if these two work with me. It seems everything or everyone i ask is pointing to sulphur.

If that is the case, then there is no reason to take Petroleum. Also, we do not administer or even SELECT a second remedy, until the reaction to the first has been noted, and the case retaken.

in this case PETROLEUM seems to be the similimmum.

SULPHUR is given to neutralise the previous allopathic medications and also to bring up some of the suppressed symptoms.

Whichever the remedy applied, it should be the only one, and if this is not fully curative after the full duration of action of the drug, the case should be retaken before making the next choice.

Thank you dr Rishimba for clarifying that. I did complete the sulphur yesterday and I'm experiencing all the symptoms more strongly but I guess I just have to wait and that it's a sign that it's working. The eczema worsened (even for my baby too, he is very itchy) and the symptoms of dizziness and hunger increased. But I also had some new symptoms coming up: a feeling of ants in my head especially on the sides and i have nausea too and vision disturbances (when I look at the computer and then at the wall i see some kind of diamond shaped figure with lines). Do you think this is all normal? Would me taking these remedies cure my baby too? I have been putting calendula cream on him in the past and it helped a little bit but when i stopped it came back, but maybe i should not put anything on him now to make him get the benefits of the remedies?

the symptoms are related to SULPHUR and so rest assured that the reaction is set up in your body.

this aggravation will go off within 2 to 3 days.

you have to wait and let the body do the rest. i believe you are nursing your baby, in this case, your baby will also be cured.

you will only take PETROLEUM once you feel that you are back to normal and you are not improving. but if you feel there is a constant improvement, do not take any other remedy.
