Kidney Diet

Anything you experts can add or make comments on. I know that it should be a low salt, low protein diet and to avoid anything that contains potassium, phosphorus, like tomatoes, sweet potatoes, oranges and grapefruits, all kinds of nuts and processed foods. Sweets and carbonated drinks are okay. Soy products are to be avoided as well but I had read that soy in its natural state like tofu, and soy milk are actually good as part of a kidney diet. Thanksgiving is on Thursday, and I am kind of sad that with all these food available - Turkey and gravy, and stuffing, sweet potato pie ala mode, homemade cranberry sauce and other side dishes, I won't really be able to enjoy much of them. I thank God though that with my chronic condition I can still be happy and optimistic about tomorrow and I still look very personable and still enjoy life to the fullest. Above all my Faith is unwaivering. Also take into consideration that I am taking the eel serum 5 drops in 1/2 cup of water. Thank you.
