toothache please help urgent
Hisorry couldn't find help from doing a search.
My son head butted me so that my jaws hit together so hard that I cried. afterwards I've had this weird feeling in my teeth, a sort of ache. It's on about five teeth on my upper jaw, worst on the top front teeth.
If I press the gums or teeth it doesn't feel worse nor when I bite or chew. When I wake up it's ok until about 10.30 -11, and worst before going to bed when I feel like taking a painkiller.It is also worse when I am outdoors as weather is cold and windy.
I feel like my teeth could drop off any time and feel panic. Thought Nitric acid should help but haven't got it. Took Merc s 30 but it made this worse. Then took Arnica 30 which helped for a while, then tried Hypericum 30 which also helped temporarily.
I managed to get a dental emergency appointment only for 48 hours from now so am desperate for advice.
My teeth should have been in good condition, not due for check-up until next fall.

Taken chamomile 30 twice because don't have chamomile 6. No difference for better, at least not yet. Am getting grumpier and more worried. Don't want to end up having root treatment or something serious.

She said Chamomilla didn't help. Try aconite in any potency you have, every one hour, max. three times and report.

yes try aconite in low potency will help you if fails then try mag. phos 3x with leukwarm water.

I took the chamomile 30 for the 4th time before going to bed last night and at least for now the aching feeling is gone. Feel more energetic and there is no pain even if my teeth still don't feel normal. Thanks for all the help. If the pain returns later this morning (as it has done on previous days) than I'll try Aconitum.

No improvement from taking Aconite. The pain started at 10.25 am again and in 10 minutes was really bad. But the stronger symptom still is the sensation as if my teeth could crumble and fall off any moment.
Will try both aconite and chamomile again and let you know what the dentist says tomorrow.

Went to see my dentist today. He said that none of the teeth are broken and the trauma to my teeth can cause pain easily for 8 weeks. He said that if there is damage to the nerves I will need root treatment (you know where a tooth is dead because the root nerve is cleaned)and will know this is necessary if the pain concentrates just in one or two teeth and the rest become pain free.
I have ache mainly on the top jaw and also going along the bridge of my nose and the middle of the forehead.
Can I do anything to prevent damage to the nerves at this stage, and can I take any remedy to heal sooner? Based on what he said I myself thought that Arnica is appropriate although it didn't bring relief in the past days.

Your next choice is Arnica. Take 3 times on the same day, in low potency,(6c or 30c) and report.

The dentist said that the trauma could have caused damage to the nerves and said that the trauma can easily last for 8 weeks.If the pain concentrates in a few or one tooth only I should come back.He gave me just-in-case antibiotics which - needless to say - I haven't taken.
I find it really difficult to pinpoint which of the several remedies I took was the one that has helped. Haven't taken any for 5 days at least now.
