back ache
my husband is suffering from back ache from a few months (earlier it was mostly lower back), now the ache is more on the right side under the shoulder and travels towards right side on the front too. feels it mostly after evening.right now uses balm or tiger oil for relief.
He is 40yrs,6'1'tall, generally healthy, not overweight/ not diabetic/ marginally high cholesterol sometimes, has cold often.
his parents are diabetic and have angina problem.
if anymore details are needed please let me know and advise.

oh i forgot to mention he is a smoker (6/7 cigarettes a day, though he wants to quit). He is a workaholic, leads a hectic schedule with a lot of travelling too.

I will definitely look into Ranunculus Bulbosus.
To answer Dr sajjadakrams query... there is no particular reason like a fall etc that he can pin point as a reason for the ache.the ache is not on the entire back... now its mostly like a muscle pain starting from the right shoulder downwards at the back and extending to the front on the rightside towards the chest.
he is very very bright and active mentally and physically, travels and drives a lot, most of his work in the office is on his laptop done sitting(bad posture???). he is a person of happy disposition, fun to have around, doesnt stress unnecessarily even in adverse conditions...believes in focussing on finding solutions rather than fretting and stressing.
for his ache he uses balm, tiger oil and volini on and off. doesnt want to take painkillers.
please advise

There is no Burning and intense itching, herpetic eruptions etc.
Also no pain in the right eye.
Pain in right shoulder on the back travelling right down and on the front right side of chest not left. No alternating with pain in left side of chest or Presence of boils on the skin or Some breathing problem too.

this muscular kind of pain is regular and it has become difficult(painful) for him to bend beyond acertain level(90 degrees).
what would you suggest.

Three doses in 1/2 hour gaps.
No more medicine.
(Kalmia is not to be repeated often).

Has the hyper classical pseudo homeopath used his own version of Murthypathy to prescribe Ran Bulb ?
It is very likely that Muthy is correct in the choice of the remedy but my question to him is, on what grounds has he selected this remedy ?

I told you umpteen times that for acute problems the remedy is selected based on
Location, sensation, and modalities.
For the above case, all these three indicate Rann.Bulb.
Read yourself all MMs amout Ran.Bulb, and come back if you have still doubts.

Chahat has clearly indicated that he is now only using the Nat Phos 6x but NOT the other essential part of my standard therapy for GERD which has worked in many hundreds of cases. He has probably stopped it for some time and his present condition is serious as he is considering surgery which will not help him and perhaps leave him a patient for life.
This is the reason why I spent some time to prescribe it to him and all you do is to butt in as usual with your standard prescription to see a 'classical' homeopath.
Why don't you prescribe that elusive 'single remedy' to cure Chahat of his chronic GERD ? All you can do is to suggest the patients who has obviously run the gamut of doctors and also 'classical' homeopaths and has finally landed on the ABC and asks for help.
What makes you think that any 'classical' homeopath can help him with a single remedy which you can also prescribe ?
You are advised to spend more time in helping patients instead of jumping in on every thread that I prescribe on, instead of wasting your time on investigating the past posts of everyone on this ABC which now run into millions.
I know that you cannot resist your urge to upset everyone especially me on this forum but as you have seen I am made of sterner stuff that your obese self with a clear mind even at my age of 77, old enough to be your father.
Remember that age and the experience that comes with it helps especially if one in not as conceited as you obviously are.
I believe that you would have been the over grown schoolboy throughout your life and cannot even at your age of 50 years, overcome your bullying tactics that are getting you nowhere, at least on this forum where you are recognized to be the Homeopathic Troll.

Another remedy you can try is Ranunc acris, which is related to ranuc.bulbus, but has this specific modality.
Compare: Ranunc acris (pain in lumbar muscles and joints by bending and turning body);
So, you have now three choices.
Ran.Bulb
Kalmia
and
Ran.acris
Read about all the three and use the one ,which you feel suits your husband best.
In case that fails to relieve within three doses, give a gap of a day, and try another one.
I am sure he will get relieved from one of these three.

You may like to know that I am the Chairman of my Company and have matters pertaining to the business to attend to especially today, since my 2 sons are abroad for a week on business. I am at 77 years of age fully occupied and I am able to devote some time to Homeopathy only during my free time, of which I have more when they are both in office.
