appetite increaser

Hi,
I'm new here and am actually seeking advice for my horse not for myself.
She is an old lady who is now struggling due to loss of appetite. She is eating what she feels like (ever changing menu) and in small quantities. Hence a big weight loss.
She has had blood tests (two lots) and nothing is showing up.
So I am really looking for something (if there is such a thing) which will perk her up and give her an appetite and help keep some weight on.
Anyone have any ideas on what, how much to give her.
I would hugely appreciate any help as she really is my baby and its hard to see her like this.
Huge thanks in advance.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Homeopathic Alfalfa mother tincture 10 drops twice daily for two weeks might help.

If this does not help take help of a vet homeopath.

You may refer following books for help:

Do you think 10 drops are sufficient for a horse. In potency like 30c or 200 c or above it is sufficient but in tincture form i think it is insufficient.I would say atleast 100 drops.

Dear Sajjad thanks for your excellent input.

For amandawordingham:(a correction)

If mother tincture is given the dosage will roughly translate to 2 drops/10 Kg of the organism.

If remedy is administered in 30c potency, 10 drops of the medicine solution(you can squirt through a syringe).
