BPH (Enlarged Prostate)

I am 74 years old. I am suffering from BPH (Prostate enlargement) for the past 10 years. I am also suffering from Parkinsons disease from 1998 August. From August 2000, I am using allopathic medicine for BPH - Finasteride, 0.5 mg - daily dose. From 2003 another medicine - Urimax (Tamsulosin Hydrochloride 400 mcg) - has been added.

I had the opportunity of going through your advice in this forum on 2006 Oct 19, that Arnica 30c in wet dose taken 3 times for a month would help BPH case. I thought that I can benefit by that advice and used Arnica 30 one wet dose daily before going to bed. It has helped easy flow. But incontinence and frequency are still bothering me.

Could you help me to get better relief, please?

thanks

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Take Sabal Serulata Mother tincture : 10 drops in half cup water 4 times a day for 2 months.

U will get cured of BPH!

Arnica won't be able help you. Sabal is a better choice. Try it as suggested above, and report progress.

Thanks for your replies.

I have used it about 6 years back before starting allopathic medicine. I have also used 'Prosan' which contains Sabal Serulata 2x besides others. They were not useful to me.

In response to the post titled 'Homeopaty medicine for BPH blood pressure and diabetes' on this forum, Mr.Joe De Livera had mentioned on 19/10/2006 that Arnica 30c in the wet dose taken 3 times daily for a month and later twice daily would help. I tried 1 dose instead of 3 doses for the past one month and it helped me partially. Would it be helpful for me if I take full 3 doses? Any advice from Mr. Joe De Livera would be greatly appreciated.

thank you.

If you feel Arnica did help you, and you want to increase it to three times a day, you can try it.

But, stop it the moment you get any new symptoms.

Review after taking for about two weeks.

'Prosan' which you were talikng about is most probably a combination medicine, and they are useless.

Organ specific medicines like 'Sabal' when taken alone in low potencies may palliate for a longer time. They may not cure, as such.

Perhaps you may not be aware that Joe was operated for prostate,(in the USA) subsequently, after he made this Arnica post.

re: enlarged prostate From Joe De Livera on 2004-08-11

I am 75 years old and was first diagnosed with BPH in 1996. My prostate was estimated at 75gm and tests for cancer were negative with PSA at 35. Hytrin was prescribed by my Uro but I could not tolerate it as my BP which is normally 120/80 was further depressed causing severe distress.

I used Conium M 30c which was effective for some time and then Sabal S 30c which seemed to be better. Both remedies were effective for a short period and the usual problems associated with BPH returned. I used Arnica 30c for an injury and discovered that it was far more effective for my prostate problems than the first two that I was using.

I used this remedy for 6 years till I came into Urine retention caused directly by a long 21 hours flight when the lack of oxygen at 39000 ft seemed to be the direct cause. I had an open Prostectomy in 2002 and am back to normal today.

I would advice you to use Arnica 30c dose 2 balls (3mm Ø) taken 3 times daily under the tongue. Your symptoms should stabilize within 24 hours and if they do, you may continue on this dose for a week and then reduce it to just 2 balls taken twice daily.

Arnica 30 is quite safe for long time use as I have done so every night up to today for 8 years. It promotes deep sleep and is perhaps responsible for my BP of 120/80 at my age. You may not take coffee, cola drinks, and any preserved foods that contain sodium nitrite like ham bacon sausages etc.

Please remember that there is no cure for BPH and all one can do is to adopt a 'watchful waiting' attitude for the future. Have regular blood tests done for PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) at least yearly and have ultra sound scans done at that time and your Uro can advice you of the growth, if any, of your prostate. A biopsy is also recommended especially if the PSA is above 8 and your Uro can recommend if this is necessary later.

I hope that my advice helps.

one thing i find interesting is the opportunity these ingredients provide us to study each one of them more deeply.

for me, that is the only purpose they serve.

I was wrong in telling that Joe was operated, subsequent to his Arnica post.

He was advising it much later.
