The Generalise option

The generalise option simply extends anything you may have ticked in a previous section to apply to all of your symptoms. For example, if you ticked morning in headache, and then enter a sore throat as a further symptom, morning will be pre-ticked in the sore throat section. You can simply untick it if it does not apply.

This feature is useful as some sections repeat themselves as you dig down deep into them. If the generalise box is ticked, you need not necessarily complete all those sub sections.

For example, suppose you have a sharp headache in the morning, and in the headache category you've ticked both sharp and morning. Each of those will lead to further tick boxes, offering morning as an option in sharp headache and sharp as an option in morning. If generalise is ticked, these options will be ticked and you can, in many cases, simply click next for your remedy.
