Hormonal imbalance

Can anyone help? My wife has a recurring problem that appears to be in step with her monthly cycle. Just prior to her period lesions and waht can be described as paper cuts appear in the soft tissue of her vulva, with obvious dsitress and discomfort.

Her key constitution is Lachesis and she is dairy intollerant, we have worked for several months to ascertain the cause, and ruled out everything else, it apperars to be hormonal.

Which hormone raises just before the period that would be so toxic as to create this kind of necrosis?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
the name of the hormone is not important for a homoeopath. if you explain the exact symptoms in detail with the modalities, a possible cure can be suggested.
