Hearing loss in left ear at the age of 24, Male
dear reader,i'm suffeeing from hearing loss in my left ear from the last 3 years.i'm 24 and male person. there is a ringing sound in my left ear.
i'm feeling very dipressed that at the age of 24, i got this one, and i'm afraid of my future.
please help me anyone..
Another inmortant point is that my father and my grand mother both have the same problem...

3. feeling uneasy in cold air
4.being in cold air enhances the suffering
10. Since how long you are suffering for each complain
: from past 3.5 years with all of the above mentioned complaints.

unable to hear clearly..some clarity is missing in the speach of others. sometimes i cant even recognize someone is speaking. i like to be in hot atmosphere.
17. How do you feel ?
i'm feeeling depressed about this issue. the wisteling sound comes out from my left ear always, which males difficult to hear the words easily.
18. How does this affect you ?
i think its affected to me from my father, as he and my grand mother, both had this complaint. but the ear side(left or right) changes from person to person.

doctor said me that this may affect like that also( from my father)
20. What comes to your mind ?
i always thought that it would be good if i can live without waering hearing heads and having solved this problem.

a lot daily..loosing important information from my team leaders and friends.

its obvious that its absolutely loss to me.
23. What sensation do you experience in that situation ? a dull and vaccumme sensation, ehicha lso makes me to feel like i'm away from the earth and in a special climate where no humans can be found.

nothing
25. current medicine you are taking : some homeo medicine given by a doctor near by my place..but i dont feel that as the good one.

Finally found a cure - so I'm sharing with as many people as I can in the hopes it will help someone.
In 2006 I suffered a 60db single-sided sudden sensorineural hearing loss, followed later by vertigo attacks and a diagnosis of Menieres Disease. I have since made a *full* recovery after suffering for 3 years. In my case these symptoms were the result a food allergy (which I have also recovered from).
I created a web site to document my own experience since it appears most ENTs have little idea about simple allergies (e.g. food, environmental) as one possible cause of significant & sudden hearing loss. [I can't post the URL on this site directly, but my user profile has it]
It includes scans of my hearing tests & allergy results.
( the House Ear Clinic - is an example of a medical practice that acknowledges the connection between allergies and hearing disorders. )
