lump in throat and fissured tongue

I have two ailments - which I am not sure they are related. I just noticed (after 44 years) that my tongue is very different than others. It started feeling wierd last summer when it felt like it was burnt and felt worse after some foods. The internet shows pics of what I have - and call it a fissured/scrotal tongue and say it's just an annyoance but nothing to worry about. Although my dentist asks me if anything has changed in my health because he says the tongue is a map as to something different going on in your body...?? I have also seen two drs and one ENT - they all say it's odd and rare but nothing to worry about but none of them actually diagnosed it. Second ailment: Lately I have been noticing a feeling in my throat - almost the feeling you get just before you start crying. Sometimes there is also some jaw pain. My dr has checked my neck over and says it all feels normal. Although at my request, is sending me to an oral surgeon. I just don't know where to go from here. Not sure if the two are related either?? I do have a history of anxiety but I sometimes feel doctors take the 'easy way' out and relate all ailments to anxiety. Maybe it is - but just like to know that it is normal and nothing to worry about. Anybody else have this and if so, is there anything you do for this? I have been taking a B Complex vitamin for years - where some sites say that is good.
