Pagalpan or Mania? Is it curable?
Dear Dr. Rajendra,I have recieved message from Mr. msbaig and I inspired from his suggestion.
Here I am writing complete info of my mother and my family.
my mother is suffering this problem from last 5years on account of my father death before my father death she not totally pagal or manic my father had consult with some doctors also.but she was not totally normal.soon after my father death she became pagal. We had given medical treatment
and seven electric sock .After
this treatment my mother become normal as a normal human been and doctor had given medicine to my mother she is taking medicine regular .BUT last one and a half years she is at presents doing the same thing .we are giving medicine regular but there is not any result.At present she is not eating properly,not sleeping,somtime she is laughing,sometime she is in serious mood .and sometime she behave like a normal human been. so please suggest me about this problem ,is this diseases is curable or not.aamir

Don't have the idea that it is not curable. If something has gone wrong it is to be corected. Have faith in God.
The symptons you have mentioned are :-

You have to be little more specific i.e.:
Is it foolish laughter?
IS she inclined to un cover herself?
DOes she sits in the corner and say nothing and hardly say when spoken?
No love to live?
Does she strikes others?
Does she got injury in her head?
Tears off the cloths?
Her eating habits and style?
Or any other details THAT YOU CAN DESCRIBE about her behaviour.

Yes, not so loud but very good smile.

No, She were Sari, Blouse and not specific clothes.
Does she sits in the corner and say nothing and hardly say when spoken?
Not specifically in corner, but say nothing & hardly say anything when ask any question.
No love to live?
Yes and No, but she love both of us. She don't allow us to be away from herself.
Does she strikes others?
No, but yesterday it was raining and when I reached home she was standing in compound in rain. I asked her to come inside then she shouted on me and beat me.
Does she got injury in her head?
No.
Tears off the cloths?
No.
Her eating habits and style?
some time eat some time not.
Mostly avoid eating, also now FAT gaining also.
Or any other details THAT YOU CAN DESCRIBE about her behavior.
Now I'll keep watch after your questions and update you as and when anything happens.
But please help us, I am not able to study nor able to understand what to do. My relatives are also upset and they assume it may not be possible to return to normal life. If you can understand she is my MOTHER. I love her lot and I want her to be normal like in my childhood.

presently give her - pulsatilla 30 (4pills three times a day) and inform me of the oter sysptoms.
does she gets angry when she is suspicious if she sees others whispering?

It looks she is under tension that is why she is taking Tobacco.
Medicine should be giving after washing the month and no tobacco before or after atlest 1/2 an hour.

Dr. Kelkar's prescribed Medicines:
1. Rapitry-3
2. Trifluxy-c25
But now she is not taking any medicine. I have started Pulsatilla 30 tablets.
I'll try to avoid Sitar Gutka before and after your medicines.

Started medicine but no change please advice some more medicine for faster relief. I am frosted, at this age I am not able to understand what to do.
Also a BAD NEWS I have failed in XII exam because I have not concentrated to my studies. I am very upset.
