Triatlete with recurrent abscesses

My Husband has suffered from abscesses since Dec 2006, since this time, he has had 6 abscesses, one in particular (only last month) on his chest was approx 4cm x 4cm and was 2.5' deep when removed. He now has another one on his cheek that has swollen so much that his eye could not open. He has been put on anti-biotics for each one he has had and is once again on yet another course of this dreaded medication. The 'plug' has now been removed and the pus has drained. The GP's say that nothing can be done and he has to live with this awful condition.

He is a triathlete and is very good at this sport. He competes approx 1-2 a month and is very high up in the field. He trains for these events (bike rides, swimming & running) approx 6 times a week. He has a pro. trainer and is not doing 'too much' despite what other people say! Sport is his life and always has been, he is a very fit guy. He is 5'8' and of a medium build, his muscle tone is excellent and all of his sports tests show excellent results. He DOES NOT take any performance boosting drugs. He does take some healthy sports energy drinks/gels(professional ones, not Lucozade etc) during his training sessions & competitions.

He has a fairly balanced diet, vegetables, fish, chicken, fruit, the odd takeaway meal and snacks. He does not smoke and never has.

He does have a fair amount of stress in his life with work & juggling work, training & family life(I work away once-twice a month so he deals with his job whilst juggling our 2 children). He is quick to anger and will shout when somebody 'annoys' him. He gets 'wound up' very easily. He appears to look stressed alot of the time.

He sleeps anything from 6-9 hours per night but always feels tired and unrefreshed.

His star sign is Aries & he is typical to this sign.

Because of his healthy, fit lifestyle, these abscesses that can appear anywhere on his body are ruining his life. He has a very high pain threshold and will continue to work & commute every day despite feeling dreadful as he will not allow this to rule his life. I do not know how he manages to function, as he is obviuosly in so much pain with little energy.

I would appreciate any advice at all on how to get rid of these abscesses once and for all!

Thank you both very much for your responses.

We are new to Homeopathy so please excuse my ignorance. When you say '4 dose only', does he take 4 pillules per day? I have read they have to be taken 30 mins before food, is this the correct way of taking them?

Will the Calc Sulp help reoccuring abscesses or a different ailment?

I really appreciate your help.
