Quicklime is obtained after burning lime. We call it 'Bhuza Chuna' or quenched lime.

Calcarea Carb. is quick lime. In Bangalore city market once I purchased rotten sea shells. They were disintegrating into powder. Paddler told me not to touch them but immerse these in the water, I did it in my hotel and water started boiling.

Causticum is a Kali-salt but it is also called 'slacked lime' or something like that.

Long ago Potassium Hydroxide was made from Lime, probably that's why the name stuck. Calcium compounds are found abounded on the earth, many things were made from Calcium Compounds including KOH.

That's a lot of information (luckily I had chemistry in college- I do not quite get it though from where the Cl- ion is in the modern method but it really is not important)! Thanks.
Since causticum of Hahnemann was derived via old method I hope that's what we are getting from labs, not just KOH.

I make alumina from clay and causticum from bleach (first read the label because in these days many kinds of bleaches) And alum from fitkary.
Another thing: that a good percentage of eczema cases are due to the exposure to clay, aluminum utensils, or niter (potassium nitrate) or bleach etc.

Dear Girilal,
I am a sufferer of stomach discomfortness that has been going on for past few years and have never setteled, imagine me living a life in hell with this issue. Each day of my life is burden on me. I am a 39 year old male and living in US.
As per doctors I suffer from Dyspepsia but all medicines I have taken did not help at all.
For past 3-4 months I have tried homeopathy, Lycopodium for month and half with IrisVers but it did not help much. Then my homeopathy doctor shift me on Ant-Crud and Chelidonium. Chelidonium for my fatty liver as I also have elevated cholestrol level.
Now let me explain my symptoms -
1. Stomach has horrible discomfortness feeling and feels like there is weight inside stomach, Feels like something of sort rubber is lying horizontally right on sternum where stomach and esophagus joins.
2. Upper part of stomach becomes so tight it feels like it is not muscle but the piece of wood.
3. This tightness/hardness tights all over in upper stomach and also keep on moving. It comes on periodically once in a week and stays there for most of the week then just relaxes for a day or two.
4. After eating food sometime it goes worse and sometimes it stays as usual and food keep comes back in mouth but sometimes it is so calm after eating food as if no problem is there in stomach. But sometimes even a glass of water causes substential discomfortness in stomach and flows upward.
5. This tightness is equally felt in back towards center and left.
6. I can not concentrate on any other work as center of my thinking is stomach as it makes me feel its presence 24*7.
7. Tongue looks like all white coated.
8. In summary, it is so frustrating I can't live with this problem anymore.
If you have time for couple of minutes and don't mind taking my call, I can call you to explain my problem. It is quite possible your help may give me a confortable life.

I have been suffering from constant headache from last about 15 years, with not a single-second relief. Feeling of band around temples. Gets up unrefreshed in the morning. Tried many homeopaths in Chandigarh and nearby areas, but no relief. Please suggest.
