Kid having a scaly back, legs and fore arms

Doc, My Nephew have some skin problem, he is 1 yr 11 months.

Since november he have dry scaly head, red itchy skin on both forearms, legs, back and red skin around the face.

It started about 3 months ago with itchy back and legs. Then the forearms & side face became as if they were severely dry and cracked.

Within a week bright red spots appeared on his back and some reddness appeared on the face around the eyes brows.

This problem occurs during the winter season, as last winter he had a same problem but very less and solve with some cold cream & after winter gone the problem also gone.

I consult a doctor, they prescribed Petroleum 1M and Sulphur 1M, for three days.

- After three days good result is coming, then Doc said stop Petroleum and continue Sulphur 1M.

- after stoping petrolem the redness & itching problem coming back, the Doc said continue both medicine.

- Itching (back and legs) not solved.

At present he have dry back, redness skin around the face.

Can you please tell the medicine which we are giving is good or should i change te medicine.(Petroleum 1M & Sulphur 1M)

Please help me.

Thanks & Regards

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Never give two homeopathic potencies together.

Petroleum alone would have helped him. The addition of sulphur made him worse.

Stop giving any medicine whatsoever, wait for a week to allow the system to recover from this haphazard treatemnt.

Come back after a week and post the current position afresh.
