Toddler Tantrums (2)

Would someone please be kind enough to explain to me how to dose chamomilla 6c. I have a homeopathic encyclopedia which says use 6c twice daily for a week, if symptoms improve stop dosing, if they reaccur re-dose and watch and wait. Is this correct? I don't want to give my daughter too much in case of aggravation, but 6c is very low dose?? Also, the picture for her oftime tantrums (they are bad ones) is similar to Chamomilla but she loves to be out in open air, whereas Chamomilla states worse in open air?? Would this make a difference in the remedy? Any light shed on dosage and whether aggravation could arise PLEASE!! Thanks so much.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
6c is very short acting, it would be different if it were higher, eg; 200c to 10m same dosage.
However look at Pulsatilla, they can also be very fiesty.

Desertrose,
I couldn't wade through all the replies of your other posting about your daughter but one thing struck me was the violence of her tantrums and bath time being an issue.

I don't know why you jumped on Chamomilla as the remedy but I think I remember Lyssin being a violent remedy and worse for water, worse for hearing running water?

Maybe you could look at that one. I don't know, I'm not a professional but I know jumping on a remedy without taking the entire case is usually a mistake and wastes time.

Best of luck,
ruth

Lyssin is not a remedy which is prescribed so easily. It can cause long lasting horrible effects. So, I would advise caution against using Lyssinum (which is saliva of a rabid dog).

It is an extremely violent remedy and a wrong prescription of it can cause horrible behaviour changes.

Have a look at this thread

where we had to anti-dote Lyssinum almost an year after it was given.

I know this is a bit late, but I used to give my son Calcarea Carbonica. I crushed the sugar form. Just squeezed his little cheeks and got it anywhere in his mouth. The tantrum was gone immediately and after a few times he didn't have them any more. Now he just gets stubborn :-) He's 24 now.
