acne and fingernail problems
Hi,I am a 24 year old female.
I have had chronic acne since puberty. Mostly pustules but sometimes cysts too.
I have tried everything and would appreciate any advice as to homeopathic remedies.
Here are some other symptoms which I experience and may help to diagnose:
- weak, splitting fingernails with constant, large horizontal ridges
-dry cuticles which tear away from fingernails constantly
- ingrown toenails
- reddish pale complexion which flushes very easily
-dry skin
-dandruff and oily scalp and skin
-hair thinner and falling out more ever since 16 years or so
-I perspire very easily, even when walking but also sometimes get so cold that i can't fall asleep at night
-poor circulation- ankles and fingers get swollen after a lot of walking or intense running or on airplanes
-nightmares
- history of depression and anxiety
-dark circles under eyes and puffy
-frequent urination
- intense sharp pain in muscles near spine which line up with tops of shoulder blades(this has been getting more frequent in the past year)
-tendency toward constipation and bloating
-very regular periods but very obvious PMS
I don't consume alcohol or drink coffee, except occasionally. I drink plenty of water

Hi, your case seems me complicated since you have various complaints so you need constitutional treatment for that a homoeopath needs a detailed history. I am starting with your acne problems. You have posted chronic pustular and cystic acne. Please post location i.e. chin,and forehead, or cheeks. Do you have blackheads and whiteheads. Do you have any itching or pain assoicated with these. Some more details about my acne:
I have blackheads on my forehead, nose, sides of nose and under eyes on cheeks and chin. I get most pustules in arcs on the sides around my mouth. More on my right side. Cysts occur in these places also, but less frequently. They don't suppurate easily and whiteheads are more rare. No itching or pain.
