The ABC Homeopathy Forum
Where to start if new but in need
I am new (houshold homeop. like Echinacea, that's as far it went) to homeopathy. I am convinced that I need it and have tried to educate myself a bit. with books and via the internet. but the more I read, the more confusing it gets. I find it sooooo interesting and I would love to really understand it (potencies etc)can anyone recommend a book which can introduce homeopathy to me, not only to understand, but also in view of a more intense knowlage to the subject. I don't think I want to open up my paxis, but to treat minor things like colds, earaches, more accute things in a competent way for me and the family. Is there such a thing? Even just to explain the lingo used(like on this forum)dosages, different forms (liquid, pellets etc.)
Also, I would like to see a homeopath. any advice what to look out for. Is one prescibing the pellet form not as good as the liquid form, I think I've learnt not to mix remedies, so the one prescibing 2 at the same time, is probably not 'good'. Anything else? I live in Ireland, and homoepathy isn't that common than in other countries.
Any advice appreciated.
