Dr Deoshlok, Mahafooz, Sajjad Please help !

My sister is 61 years, lost her husband only six months back, no issues, had Adeno carcinoma in Ampulla of water, that is in the junction between stomach and small intestines. This was about three years back. She was operated and stomach was removed. Nothing showed up there after for three years. She was so weak after operation that only 5 out of 10 cycles of radiation and chemotherapy could be administered that time (3 years back).

Now she had reddish urine and blood and urine test showed 1.7 instead of max 1.0 and the doctor concluded that it must be jaundice. But the doctor also insisted that we must do CT scan to detect the possible secondaries spreading to the liver, as the place where the adenoma affected is very near that. With small doses of liver tuning drugs, the urine colour became normal. This is not possible in jaundice. Further a senior doctor gave the impression that it must be secondaries generated and affecting the liver..

I am taking her for CT scan tomorrow. Can any doctor please guide ?

Thanking you in advance !!
