Doctor Forbidding Homeopathics?

I just had surgery on my eye (well, actually around my eye, because the eye itself is prosthetic, but , I digress) and I had brought homeopathics with me to the hospital, just in case I was nauseas upon waking.
When the surgeon spoke to me in the recovery room, she told me I could not take homeopathics for 2 months.

Is there any valid reason behind her instructions?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
you can please ask her the same.

it would be some learning to us as well.

I assume this was the surgeon that has forebade. They don't seem to be able to make up their minds if Hpathy works or not, Arnica low would help as would Staphasagria or Silica, there are many others that would also help. However, if there were a worsening of your situation, who would help? A know nothing of Hpathy Allopath or a self prescriber? you need to consult a real Hpath because this is not as safe as people are led to believe, and by that I mean under proper supervised homeopathic care. I would also like to know why the forebidden order?
