The ABC Homeopathy Forum

hypothetical scenario

let's say you use one of the Hyland's formulas (combos), say the one
for insomnia, which contains hyoscyamus niger, ignatia amara and Kali
phos. According to the classical homeopathic thinking, a single
remedy is preferred. Let's say the hyoscyamus niger is the remedy
that actually works for you. That means that you're taking ignatia
amara and kali phos when you don't need to. Would this put you in a
situation where you might be 'proving' a remedy? In other words,
could you develop symptoms that ignatia amara might cause if given to
a healthy person (with no symptoms)?
