Rumbling under left rib cage.
I can't seem to find anything about this on the internet. I have not yet seen a doctor. For the past two months I've noticed a rumbling under my left rib cage. It will rumble for a few seconds, stop, then start again and can go on for any amount of time. Today it went on for most of the day and all I had this morning when it started was coffee. I was looking into IBS, but I'm not sure if that could be it. I've noticed I've had to go to the bathroom more and I've been very thirsty. I do not have diarehhea or constipation or a sudden urge to go to the bathroom. I have had a tiny bit of stomach discomfort. There's no pain involved. For years, every once in a while I get a sharp pain through my chest area. I don't know if this has anything to do with what's going on. I've also noticed that I seem to get gassy almost right after I eat. I'm hoping this couldn't be a beginning stage of IBS..I really haven't come across anything else it could be. I would like to help you, but before would like to know do you have pneumonia in the past and from where you are using internet?

No, I have never had pnuemonia. I'm unsure of what you mean by from where..I used google to try and research it and I live in Pennsylvania.

I just thought to tell you, I am 24 years old and I did have a kidney stone three years ago if that will help with anything since the pain I had from the kidney stone is in the same area as the rumbling.
