Can Homeopathy Cure Diabetes?

And I agree. There are NO incurable diseases!

The point is that it is hard to treat homeopathically someone so dependent on allopathic drugs (insulin)-but it is not impossible-but you need a very close supervision of qualified homeopath.

Certainly there is - but not easy - could take a couple of years . Oddly enough I'd go along with what Shamid says - as a first step .
I use syzygium , but its the first time I've seen it in a post on the net.

I have had a most interesting response from a Type 1 Diabetic to whom I gave Arnica 6c to cure a long standing wound on his foot. His Blood Sugar level dropped down to 20 on the day he took took 2 balls 3 times daily which caused him some distress. He used the same regimen of injections of insulin on the day he took the Arnica and both he and I were surprised with the sudden drop in his blood sugar. He promptly stopped taking this remedy and refused to start on it again as he had never had a similar response before for any drugs he had taken in the past and he thought that it was too dangerous for him to use Arnica.

I cannot figure out what the reason was for this incredible response to the Arnica 6c and would like to record this information for the benefit of anyone who would like to use it and report on his or her response to his Blood sugar on this Forum.

I would also like to add that Cinnamon, which is grown in Sri Lanka where I live, has also been found to help to reduce Blood Sugar and also Cholesterol. The dose is half a teaspoon to be taken daily with food.

Hi, I am 34 years old and has been a diabetic for the last 7 years, had insulins (actrapid + insulatard) and glimepiride+ metformin...still in the range of 300 random (198 fasting). After seeing this i started Insulinum 30,Pancreatinum 30, and Syzygium Jambo Q for the last one month....Still im in 300s...last random(just 5 mins before this post) is 318. Can any one help..thanx in advance

Sorry to hear about your uncontrolled diabetes.
I too was diagnosed a type 2 diabetic and put on oral meds.
However now from Jan 2010, I take no meds and my blood glucose levels have fallen to pre-diabetic/ non diabetic levels.
I used homeopathy and a special diet to reverse my diabetes.

I need to understand whether Arnica 6 and Arnica 6C are the same? In Indian I was told that both are same. If yes then I have started taken Arnica 6c but do not see much of a difference. I am on metformin 500 .. 2 tablets .. twice daily .. but my BS level remains at 160+ during fasting and 270+ during post lunch .... Appreciate if someone can confirm if arnican 6c and arnica 6 are same?

SHould I use Arnica 30? and NAT Phos 6X? Please help.

You may like to know that I was the first Homeopath to identify Arnica 6c as being the ultimate remedy to help control Diabetes in 2005.

I have experimented with both Arnica 6c and 30c in the Wet dose by giving them to patients and have found that the 6c is more effective as the results are seen with a lower Blood Sugar level usually under 18 hours.

I note that you have taken Arnica 6c with 2 tablets of Merformin 500 twice daily but that you did not see any effect on your BS level.

Arnica 6c has helped about 80% of the patients to whom I have prescribed it and it is possible that you are among the 20% who do not respond. You may like to know however that I have recently been treating a patient who presented Diabetes for the last 2 years with a BS level of 535 and was taking large doses of Merformin daily which had brought on an allergic reaction with the skin in many parts of his body discharging pus due to Dermatitis.

I gave him Arnica 6c in the Wet dose and his BS level stabilized at 100 within 12 hours. He saw me recently and reported that he had exhausted his bottle and had not taken Arnica for a week and that his BS level had not risen above 108. This can indicate that the Arnica which he had been taking for the last 4 months had stimulated his Pancreas to produce Insulin on demand thereby hopefully curing his Diabetes.

I note that you inquired about Nat Phos 6x. Can you tell me the reason why you wish to do so?

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made up as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also known as Liquid Dilution.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake it hard to produce bubbles.
This is homeopathic succussion and must be done every time before a capful of the bottle which is the dose is sipped as directed.

Report your response in 3 days after you start on this therapy.

To my all friends. Please do not stop insulin when u have high sugar level. U must be take the insulin. if hemeo remedy work then reduce the insulin by testing at lest one time a day.

I have been diagnosed diabetic type 2 for about two years. Gave recently come across herb fenugreek. I take 2 daily plus half tspoon cinnamon on plain Greek yoghourt after dinner. Dont overdo it, you will get the squirts.
Have reduced my Diabex dose by half and the sugars have been rock steady.
Only one week into this, will report back as time goes on. Has any-one else tried Fenugreek

Do you directly take fenugreek seed or do you crush it and mix it with curd?

I managed to get Fenugreek Capsules from Natures Sunshine. The powder doesn't taste so good and the seeds are difficult to grind. The only way that I found to cook with it was in curry. if you have a problem getting them contact me and I will see if I can point you in the right direction

I've been diagonosed with diabetes 2 weeks back and my Blood glucose levels were 340 and i 've surfed whole net and found turmeric , white pepper , fenugreek ,& cinnamon are really good , so i brought these powders home and added 3 pinches of each powder in hot water by dipping green tea bag with sugar sweetner /Aspertime tablet and started drinking twice a day .and i tell you this herbal tea tastes really good and my blood glucose levels came down to 178 with in 2 weeks of time and ofcourse i reduced intake of rice and all sugar content items . hope you too can try it !!

Your report of stabilizing your Blood Sugar by bringing it down from 340 to 178 with a pinch each of 'turmeric , white pepper , fenugreek ,& cinnamon' which you mixed into green tea is of great interest to me as I have in the past been prescribing Arnica 6c in the Wet dose which have I referred to in a post at the top of this page. I have had reports of a reduction of the Blood Sugar levels by up to 33% shortly after the patients took this remedy which I was the first to identify.

I shall be interested in following up your case on a regular monthly basis to see if your therapy will continue to help to control the BS levels of patients.

I have read quite a few posts about Diabetes and Arnica 6C and all of them talk about blood sugar numbers which more likely seem to be the fasting numbers or in some instances they specifically say they are fasting numbers.

Joe or anybody else can you please quote any BS numbers for post prandial counts before the patients started on Arnica 6C regime and after. I am sincerely asking this question and not as a skeptic.

I have had reports from many patients whom I have treated that Arnica 3c in the Wet dose is more effective in reducing Blood Sugar levels in comparison to Arnica 6c.

One Type I patient responded with a reduction of 75% of his demand for Insulin. In other words his BS level dropped by 75%.

This is indeed a significant discovery to add to my original discovery that Arnica helps Diabetics.

I hope that the classical homeopaths who often criticize me for my 'Joepathy' will take note.

Is this reduction in blood sugar levels seen only in fasting sugar or post prandial (2 hours after meals) as well? Thanks again.
