The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Can you help my thyroid?

I have just come back from a dotor trained in homeopathy.
She perscribed me two remedies.
Mucedokehl and Nux Vomica.
I am really needing help with my hormones and thyroid. They are completely out of whack. Each day going on, things are getting more imbalanced.

I read the Nux vomica and it is describing so many of my issues to a tee. So that can help you to know what is happening with me. If I am not suffering from them now, I have in the past, like the other indications for Mucedokehl.

I have 2 questions.
I do not have chronic respiratory infections now, but did for about 25 years. I had all the other indicatations for this medicine! Now, I have severe fatigue, problems seeing straight, which I believe are from my thryoid and hormonal other imbalances.
First question, will this medicine help to balance my thyroid and hormones? I really need guidance on this.

Second, is there something ELSE I should take for my thyroid? I am totally confused and cannot afford to go to another doctor. (I live in Europe)I need help to increase the function of my thryoid. Is there something else I should take?

If you could please tell me what to take to help this thyroid, I have pain from it, in my brain...and parathyroid and pineal hormonal imbalances as well.

If you can help, I would be so blessed.
Thanks you so much.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please trust your Homeopath- remedies act holistically so we don't give 1 remedy for 1 complaint and another for something else.
nux Vom seems fine but I'm not sure the second remedy you mention is a Homeopathic remedy- I've never heard of it . It may be a herbal supplement.

Sorry, it is called...
Pleo Mucedo

It is not about trusting. It is that I would like to know if there is something more SPECIFIC for my thyroid function specifically.

Hope that is more clear now.

Oh wow..
I just read about toxicity of Nux Vomica.
I was not warned about this and was told to take it for 1 YEAR at 9 small pills a day at a 6 level dose.
Is this an ok dose to take? Or is it too much??
I would also like to add in relation to the trust issue above, that the person who perscribed it is NOT a full time homeopath and is only basically trained.
Looking forward to your help!
Thanks so much!
