ligament tear
I had an accident in the month of april, initally i had swollen knee with pain in my right leg,upon taking x- ray.the result was normal but doctors upon checking the knee it was found that i have ligament tear and i have to undergo orthoscopic surgery,now i cannot use the leg normally instead i limp and walk ,anyone can suggest any better solution to this problem.ramesh v k on 2009-08-17

Please take medicine as follows:
RHUS TOXICODENDRON-30 ( 5 drops per dose morn. and evening)
CALC.FLOUR-6x ( 2 tablets of 2 grain thrice a day)
and report after 2 weeks.

Thanks for your reply,and also suggest me how do i take the medicine like should it be taken before meals or after meals, and also any food restriction while taking the medicine.

As per your advice i have taken the prescribed medicine for two weeks, after two weeks i feel much better,the swelling in the knees is reduced,though the stiffness in the knee is come down it is not cured completely .
Please let me know the next course of action to be taken.

Dear dr.mahfooz.
The knee stiffiness has dramatically come down,though i feel pain while spatting or kneeling down, last week i had taken an M R I to my injured leg the result from the scan shows normal ie
medial&lateral, meniscus shows normal
A C L & P C L intact,
collateral ligaments intact
joint space normal
patella normal
bone normal
articular cartilage normal
impression
MENISCI & LIGAMENTS ARE NARMAL
eventhough the M R I shows normal still stiffness and pain still remains
but overall i feel better compared to my previous days
please tell me the next course of medication.
