I am new to homeopathy and have doubts about its usefullness. Is there a high percentage of people that are cured from it or is it something that only works for some people?dan797s on 2009-11-03

Generally it does'nt work for those who think that it won't work for them. Similarly those who are addicted to drugs, stimulants, sensual pleasures give less opportunity for the remedy to stimulate vital force. So some life style changes are required if the indicated remedy fails to work.

So if it doesn't work for those who don't think it will work then are you saying it is just a placebo effect? Meaning it could just be a sugar pill but if someone believes in it the remedy would work....

Homeopathy works on animals. In europe allopathic treatment of cattle used in the dairy business is not allowed. There homeopathy is used on a large scale with excellent results. So it is not a placebo effect. What i said was that there are few people who enjoy being sick or there are few others who want cure at their temrs (no change in lifestyle accepted). Homeopathy does'nt work for them. Homeopathy has ability to cure but what it can do if the patient has all willingness to remain sick.
