how long a homoeopathymedicine can be taken
Dear Doctors,Please let me know how long we can take a homoeo medicine. is it advisable to continue a medicine for any disease, if there is improvement?.why i am asking is i was advised to take merc sol 30 for 5 days only.

In Homeopathy, repetition is normally kept at minimum. You say Merc Sol 30 for 5 days ONLY. I wonder why for FIVE DAYS! Merc sol is a deep acting and anti-miasmatic remedy if you know what I mean. If it is well indicated just one dose is all that is required. For that reason after a dose, patient is advised to keep track of the changes to decide further dosage.
A variant is ofcourse multiple doses given as a unit dose over the same day or on successive days. Looks like your homeopath is following that. Please feel free to discuss with your homeopath. I am sure he will be more than happy to educate you.
