Pulsatilla for a man

Hello!

I have given my husband Pulsatilla 200c (I strongly think it is his constitutional remedy) - 4 doses in the first 48 houns and there was quite a change and improvement in his behaviour and thoughts. But after 3 days some symptoms were back - so I gave him another dose this morning.

My question - how often can one take a remedy? Can he take it every day?

Thank you very much!

PS He had a huge head injury after a fall from a tree at the age of 5 - survived amazingly.
He had a lung colapse when he was 10 y.o. -
Otherwise really fit and very well!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If you look into the MM, Natrum Sulph is well indicated for head injury. Puls may be given to men if it is indicated.

I have read about Puls - and it suited my husband...so I think it is his constitutional remedy...

His main suffering now is Anxiety on waking - he has it almost every mornign :( - and he has to go for a run - to release it - and feel better...
It is very severe ..I guess it is stress.
He is worried that he is not able to find a place that will hold him...like a rock to stand on...
Oh..I am so upset - I would like to help - trying to find remedy...Puls 200c - worked I thought - he had it for 2 days 4 doses - and now he did nt had for 5 days...and he is again waking all anxious...again fearful thoughts (that he is not able to find carreer he would like long-term - that he doen't know where to live...- very unstable in making desisions...
Is there a cure for an anxiety on waking?

THANK YOU!!!

1. Main suffering:

Anxiety and restlessness, acute uneasiness on waking - awful feeling in stomach 'like a heavy thick butterfly feeling' in the pit of his stomach.

Probable cause: fear of being unable to find the place he belongs, fear of things that did not happen - but might(!)- 'What if...?' types. He knows the thoughts are irrational - but cannot help. - like worrying about all the bad this that could happen - without the reason.

happens on waking - probably ignited by subtle thoughts that were in his mind before he woke up - but he cannot pin them down.

To a much less extent - tightness of chest (collapsed lung at the age of 14)

Started in childhood - before going to school - 13 y.o. boarding school which he hated and had trouble conforming with the peers. He felt like he didn't fit.
Especially acute on Mondays. (as after a weekend at home - the idea of going to the boarding school was terrifying.)

He also can suddenly and sharply move in the sleep.

The condition is better if he is hydrated.

Unrelated sufferings:

He is also a surfer with a fear of sharks.

At the 7 he had a huge fall 'head-on' from a tree - it was a miracle he recovered fully. After that he started writing.

At the age of 14 he had a left lung collapse (pheumathorax). which was operated on.

He is a keen runner and has great health.

2. personality: very very very kind, but has very fixed ideas of what is good or bad. Can get angry - but not volatile. Could be shy - but likes to be in a spotlight at the same time.
Prefers crisp weather.
Hates when it is stuffy and he is short of breath and dehydrated. Prone to migraines (probably due to dehydration)

Cravings: (he is vegetarian from birth - no meat or fish - but eats cheese/butter and eggs) loves heavy buttery food - buttered toast with cheese. Pasta, pizza - favorites. (but he does not have them too often) - He is very very skinny.
Likes desserts only after dinner. Chocolates and heavy cheesecakes, custard. Likes Indian food too very much.

Aversions: does not

Dreams/Ambitions/inner-most ambitions: publishing his books and having writing as the only and full-time occupation - becoming an internationally published author and providing well for the family.

Fears: fear of not achieving the goals (dreams). as was said before - 'What if...?' fears are really the most acute suffering...as they hold back and create mess in thinking.

3. Profession: in creative industry. not liking it too much. In fact studying now to change the direction. Always in front of the computer. He chose the career willingly - but without really thinking much about what to do after graduation. The main attraction in the choice of that carrer - was the aspect of CREATION - he is rally and amazingly creative.

He want to write books.

4. Fears. He wants them to stop haunting him. He wants to have less ego and more self-confidence.

5. Nervous, anxious, Shy, worrying, proud, guilty, depressed, weepy, emotional, smtimes headstrong, forgetful, jealous, aggressive, follower, insecure, immature, impulsive, rigid, restless, paranoid.

6.Break up with the girl he adored (18 y.o.)- his 1st serious relations.

7. yes - at the age of 17-19 was the worst - break up with the girl he adored. Hates solitude. In fact - this is his worst fear. (like pulsatilla) - he needs touches, affection, company. Hates isolation. Hates being alone not knowing what to do - but he likes being alone - writing.

As for depression - he gets restless a week or so before the new or full-moon.

8. Yes, not really often gets angry - but moans and gets frustrated.(but i suspect he is suppressing the anger - as when he gets angry he wants to punch smth - like physically express it - like kick a wall or a curb or a road sign - not a person though).
Most angry when he is feeling that he is not getting anywhere and his efforts are vain.

9. VERY VERY VERY PROTECTIVE. His mum was VERY domineering. is parents were too loving and gave him everything he wanted - but by doing this they were 'buying' him - his good behaviors etc..
It is difficult to make decisions now...(because - 'mummy always right')

10. High drive. He is able to satisfy the desires.

please try PHOSPHORUS 1M two doses 15 minutes apart on a single day.

note the changes in the next 15 days and report.

if he improves, you know when to give the next higher dose.

Hello Rishimba!

Sorry it took too long to get back.
There was a problem with getting the remedy. Finally my husband got to the pharmacy and there were no drops in the 1m potency. They sold him pellets and said to take 2 pellets a day. and he took the 2 pellets straight away...and then told me 2 hours later.(!)
So he forgot that he should have taken another dose in 15 minutes time. :(
I said he does not take any more.
What should he do now?
Should he take another does sometime?
Also - yesterday was quite a crazy day. But it was crazy for a day before yesterday too. All those unstable thoughts, he had a problem at work etc. spiralled down into moaning. It is very tiring for me - I was thinking about divorce.:(

are you sure he took 1M potency..just check up the potency and tell me.

if a very low potency was suggested by the pharmacy, it will not change his mentals..

rishimba last decade
yes - 1M pellets.
he took 2 and did not eat 2 hours afterwards.

Maybe it will take effect a bit later? He is better now...taking about self-improvement and self-confidence today.

nettle last decade
ok..wait for a week and repeat one dose if you think his mentals are again going negetive.

Ok, thank you!

As also - about my question in the other topic.
I have not taken anything since those 5 doses of NAt Mur - which were fantastic. I do not have any symptoms anymore. Should I just relax and wait?
I still feel really good - but when I am upset and angry with my husband - i feel it in my ovaries...but it goes away when th esituation improves.

nettle last decade
just relax if everything is fine..

dont be a hypochondriac..:)

Thank you Rishimba!

:) - I am probably a bit hypochondriac now:))) - as I used to 'wave away' all the health stuff.

Anyway - I took another dose of Nat Mur two weeks ago - and it worked again.

But now I have the simptoms returned again.

I am thinking to take another dose of Nat Mur. Or maybe I should take 1m Nat Mur?

Also - just confirming - Nat Mur is good for pregnant? (just in case I get pregnant - should I still take 1m Nat Mur?)

I have patches of flaky skin on my face and dandruf. I wonder if it is at all possible to get rid of dandruf without those chemical shampoos? (Head&Shoulders etc)

nettle last decade
if nat mur has worked and the symptoms are coming back, you can take the same potency again. you can do this till this potency works. once you see that the potency works no more, you can go to the next higher potency.

it doesnt matter if you are on the family way..

nat mur works better on people who have oily skin and i am afraid dry flaky skin is not well covered by nat mur.

if you take nat mur for some other symptoms, you can check it out.

Well - I have answered all the questions in the questionaire. It helped - I generally feel a lot better. I will take it again - as the 200c worked very well.

But I am looking at Sulphur as well...as I have flaky skin patches on the face and dandruf.

Do you think Sulphur will help?

Thank you!

just a symptom or two, especially physical, will not point to any remedy.

for a remedy to work, some symptoms, with modalities and generals should match.

take nat mur and observe..if it doesnt work, we will look for a remedy.
