Urethral Abscess - Homeopathic Remedy(s) Suggestion Please!

Hi,

44 years old, female:

In June of 2009 I started having symptoms of urinary frequency and urgency, inflammation and pain in the pelvic area, and feeling very sick overall. I was finally diagnosed as having a urethral abscess and took 500 mg Azithromycin (a very strong dose!) per day, to control the infection. I was scheduled for surgery in December but it was canceled because the abscess appeared to have healed itself. Now, in the last week, I have been having to urinate more frequently, including getting up 1-2x at night. I have an irritated feeling in my urethra, and pelvic pain and inflammation. Warm baths and heating pads make it feel better. I am an anxious, high-strung person in general. Sensitive to criticism and cold, and eat a vegan diet. I do not want surgery or more antibiotics and would willingly try any homeopathic remedy that may cure this infection once and for all.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take three doses of Hepar Sulph 30c at a gap of 4 hours for 3 days and report back after 15 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thank you so much for your helpful reply! Regarding taking meds every 4 hours, does this include the nighttime hours, i.e. do I have to set my alarm and make sure I get up every 4 hours at night? Thanks again.

**You have to take only 3 doses per day. So there is no need to set your alarm and make sure that you get up every 4 hours at night. It is better to take all the three doses during the day. You may take first dose in the morning or afternoon. second dose 4 hrs after the first dose and the third one 8 hours after the first one. So you should be done with all the three doses before going to sleep and you can sleep peacefully.

Hello,

It has been 15 days and unfortunately the homeopathic medicine had no effect on the abscess. I am now taking 250 mg Azithromycin/day. I would appreciate another suggestion. Thank you.

I forgot to ask - when should I stop taking the antibiotic to know if treatment is working? Before, during or after taking the homeopathic medicine? Thank you.

You may stop antibiotics during the homeo treatment and note the difference.
