cabbage juice

hi doctors,

i have ulcer. i found on the internet that cabbage juice is good for ulcer patients. now i taken two glasses of juice. it has very foul odor, and not only that it feels like vomiting , belching and constant gas.

if you please doctors share yours view regarding this, this will be extremely helpful.

2. allopath doctors gave me some medicine (omeprazole) for stopping the acid supply in the stomach.

in this case do natphos help????


3. i'll be really helpful if someone can help me in providing a diet for ulcer patient.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Yes, Cabbage juice is good for gastric/peptic ulcers.But you should not consume it in large quantities.50-100 ml will do.Some persons may experience gas trouble with cooked cabbage.If you have such problems, reduce the intake of cabbage.
Your diet should be more alkaline to reduce acidity.
If you need free advice on diet, you can mail me with details about illnesses, your food preferences etc.
You can take Natrum.phos 6x - 4 tabs/ 4 times daily, which can help in reducing acidity.
