5yr old son w eczema for the last 3 yrs

My son's eczema is really bad, started when he was in a hot, humid country when he was 4 mos old (heat rash). Tht was it, then, around 2 yrs old starting to get eczema from sitting on the toilet bowl (though i clean it all the times), now he has it all over his body, use lots of steroid, went away about 80%, now summer, came back and steroid not working anymore. Worse in dry room, and when its hot. also have the prob in winter. He's always angry. He will scratch until he bleeds. worse areas behind the thighs, tip of fingers.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give him Sulphur 6c thrice a day at a gap of 4 hours for only one day (not daily) and report back after 7 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 1 drop in some 10 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 15 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Thank you for the reply, i just started the sulphur today. will see. Just more info. This eczema runs in the family (father, myself, sister). I had terrible breakout twice in my life. mor eon my son, he likes to hold if he needs to pee resulting peeing in his pants sometimes, or dripping. though he doesnt wet the bed. very stubborn and cries a lot. His joints are highly flexible, very skinny and small (30lbs for a 5yr old). cant stp scratching and peeling the wound, I dont know if its the itchiness or the habit. So the eczema is very hard to heal. His eczema are open wound like, and some are the harden skin (sandy skin on the neck) and innner elbows. He likes rice a lot, Sweat alot and very warm body. Also his ear wax is more than my other kids. is there anything tht can help the itchiness at least, so the healing will be easier?

Has he got deformed nails ??
Is he constipated ??

PANKAJ VARMA last decade
No deformed nails, healthy nails instead, contipation, once in a while (not even once a week, daily bowel movement), but he has bloating problem. And compared to my 2 1/2 yr old son, he is weaker (not strong).

Condition is still the same, he has been on the soy diet for almost 1 year, Today I just found out fr my naturopath dr tht he is allergic to dairy except goat's milk, citrus fruit, beans and nuts including soya beans except sesame, pinto beans, lima beans, all vegetables ok except garlic (though long green bean is not listed), wheat and gluten also to avoid. SO I will going to cut these and see the outcome. He is also on HLC, fish oil and quercetin. The itch wakes him up a least twice every night :(.

Can you please give the following information in respect of your son.

1.Whether he prefers warm surroundings ie whether he likes to be covered or he prefers cold surroundings and open air.

2.whether he has a mild disposition or an irritable diposition. How is his attitude towards his friends and relatives?

3.What physical problems, if any does he have.

4.At what time he feels better and at what time does he feel worse like in the morning, evening, late night etc.

5.What do you think is the causative factor for starting his problems.

6.How is his thirst for cold drinks, hot drinks and water?

7.How is the bowel movement? Normal, constipated or loose.

8.Whether the child prefers to move around or prefers to keep still.

Can you please give the following information in respect of your son.

1.He doesnt like to be covered while sleeping even if its cold, though he wears jacket outside when its cold. In overall he prefers cold air than warmth air.

2.I would say he has irritable disposition . Has bad temper, he easily get mad over simple things where other kids would have tolerated. He doesnt mix much with friends, though he does he observes first and then play with them. With my other kids he get jealous a lot and doesnt want to give up toys easily. His voice is very loud (likes to scream, but very quiet when we want him to say something)

3.Physical. He is skinny and weak (strength wise). Dry lips

4.Feels better around afternoon, worse mood after waking up and his itchiness is worse at bedtime.

5.I think its food, and weak organs (git, liver and kidneys - must have failed to do their jobs at the best)

6.He prefers cold drink, ask for water a lot. ThoughI always try to give him room tempearture water.

7.Bowel movement normal, very strong odor though. But he likes to hold his pee, until now I have to remind sometimes push him to go to the bathroom. When he needs to go, he will run back and forth,or jumps a lot, thats how I notice he needs to go.

8.He prefers to move around though this was the opposite when he was younger (up until 1 1/2 yr old). He sits still for TV and computer game though.

Please wait for 7 days as suggested earlier. After that give him a single dose of Sulphur 200 and report back after 15 days.

Yes sure, thank you kadwa. So far not improving but will wait few more day till the 7th day. And I found this explanation online about characteristics of my sons eczema which somewhat falls under the remedy graphite... tell me wht you think of it...
'Graphites..Very useful in Eczema, which looks very much like that of Ars., but with rough skin and oozing of a glutinous fluid. Eczematous eruption appears about the eyes, on the cheeks, on and behind the ears, on the top of the head and down the occiput; it may also be scattered here and there over the surface of the body, particularly in the bends of the joints.
“Excessive cautiousness; timid, hesitates; unable to decide about anything.

As John has made suggestion after a long gap, You should first give Sulphur 200. John is one of the best homeopaths i have seen and he always makes suggestions after indepth analysis.
Later you may give (after 15 days of giving Sulphur 200) Graphites 30c thrice a day for only one day and wait for 10 days if Sulphur fails to work.
