All Doctors: Perianal cyst causing erectile dysfunction
I am a 54 year old male suffered a perianal cyst in April 2009. It burst on it's own (it was extremely painful)and drained using a sitz bath and a sulphur based antibiotic that the allopathic doctor prescribed.It continued to drain and in August I used a product
containing tea tree oil and
the cyst dried up completely.
In November of 2009 it returned and has effected my ability to achieve a full erection.
I am sure it is related because when I have stron supporation in the cyst I have strong erections. When I am attempting an erection I can feel the pressure on what I think is the pocket of puss.
I have tried joepathy and Punkaj Varmas treatment for pilonidal cyst with limited success.
I have had the most success with myristica which seems to open the cyst but the drainage is mostly a lymph fluid not the puss and blood I saw the first time it ruptured.
I tried the following remedies (at different times)
myristica 3c,12c,30c,200c
silicea 6c,200c
hepar sulph calc 6c,12c,200c
calc sulph 6c,12c,30c,200c
gun powder 12x,12c
nux vomica 200c
bellis 200c
Causticum 200c
Kali-Carb 200c
Arnica Montana 30c (wet dose)
I take a dose of myristica (4 to 5 pills every 8 hours) and wait 48 hours and follow it with a remedy to cause supporation for 3 days and then wait for the results. Sometimes I see puss with a red tinge (which looks like blood). I also experience a burning sensation at the top of the anus (this is consistent with the first time in April 2009).
However the draining does not last and I have to start over.
I still use the warm water as well as the homepathic remedies. I get hints that it is working but it has not worked completely yet. I feel I'm missing something and I need guidance.
Other health info - I survived the last of 3 strokes in 2002 and I have mobility issues so I do a great deal of sitting. I use a donut to minimize pressure in the area and I have been using joepathy to relieve spasticity in my legs. Which has been successful.
Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Right side stroke caused by high blood pressure. I had 2 small strokes in 1999 and 2000 which effected my walking ability. I currently use a cane.
Doctor misdiagnosed stroke symptoms as arthritis and told me I did not have high blood pressure. He told me I had 'white coat syndrome' which accounted for my elevated blood pressure during physical examinations. Finally I had the last stroke in 2002 and was hospitalized for a month.
I was told I did not suffer any neurological damage from the stroke but I don't agree. I still have twitches in the right arm intermittently which let me now they were wrong. The twitches do not impair my day to day activities.
I am a positive person who is always willing to take on a challenge. I try not to get to high on success or too low on failure. I do not judge other people and find that I am too forgiving and make allowances for behaviors that I should not tolerate.
I have a wife and a family, I program computers for a living. I like sports was active in martial arts for 40 years (before strokes), played basketball, boxing, handball, chess, photography. I work out 2 time a week on my Bowflex and stretch to continue to try and strengthen my legs and righ shoulder.
I try to only eat organic food, I do not eat meat, I eat fish not processed foods, sugar or wheat, no fast foods,
very very limited organic dairy products, I only drink spring water. I use natural African black soap and Shea butter for my skin. I use deodorant that does not include heavy metals like aluminum etc.
I no longer take prescription drugs for my blood pressure, I control it with diet and exercise.

2. How big it is right now?
3. Do you feel any pain, please describe your pain in detail, if any?
4. I know the pus is there, but, how much pus comes out, frequency, color of the pus, thickness?

6. Please describe your burning in detail, if any?
7. Please shed some light on your itching, if any?

In the meatime, however, you may take Staphysagria 200C for ED. That will be 4 drops in 2 sips of water, 3 times, only for 1 day.

Please take three wet doses of Nitric acid 30c separated by 30 minutes each on a single day only.
Put one pill/drop of the remedy in 100 ml of clean water and stir gently with a spoon. One teaspoon from the solution is one dose. Please stir 10 times before each dose and throw the solution after the three doses are over.
Do let me know of the situation in three days.

I really have not suggested anything for the cyst yet as I don't have enough data at the moment. This is only for his current ED problem, Staphysagria 200C has worked very well in the similar cases providing positive results.
I respect your suggested remedy and recommend Robert to go with it.

- History of right-side paralysis.
- Disposition - gentleness
- Fistula on perineum

I follow the homeopath advice to the letter. If I solicit advice I listen and I respect all the homeopaths that offer advice on this site. However if I try a treatment and don't see tangible results then I must seek other avenues of relief.

1. Please tell me the exact location of your cyst? cyst is at the top of the anus. Right above the opening.
2. How big it is right now?
I'm not sure. It feels about the size of a marble.
3. Do you feel any pain, please describe your pain in detail, if any? Intermittent stabbing pains that shoot through the rectal area. Some minor throbbing when sitting.
4. I know the pus is there, but, how much pus comes out, frequency, color of the pus, thickness? A small spot usually yellowish in color.
5. Is there any blood coming out at the moment? If yes, then, what color and amount of blood? No Blood.
6. Please describe your burning in detail, if any? Burning in area of cyst when I use myristica. It feels hot and there is a sensation of pressure as if it is trying to burst.
7. Please shed some light on your itching, if any? As I am writing this there is a tremendous amount of itching in the area of the rectal opening. It is very annoying and makes me want to scratch the area with my nails.
8. Any other issues, except the ones you have already stated? No
9. Please describe your state of mind at the moment? I would say that I am generally relaxed except for my anxiety over is issue.
10. Lastly, your enegy level today? High

You should not take two remedies at the same time. Take Nitric acid for now, if needed we will have Staph later.
You can order it in pills or liquid...just remember to take it in wet dose as described.

Erectile function has returned 80%. I can achieve the erections now it is a matter of maintaining them.
I noticed the progression of erectile success in relation to the drainage:
Day 1 - a lot of drainage from cyst and a return of blood flow to the penis resulting in a heavy but not erect penis.
Day 2 - more drainage and erections are achieved but do not last very long.
Day 3 - still draining heavily and erections last longer than previous day.
Based on this observation I am thinking that the erectile function will increase with the continued drainage. Is this correct?
How long should I continue to dose with nitric acid 30c?
