Frequent bowel movement

I am 40 year male.

I am having frequent irregular bowel movement for long time now. I have been seeing gastroentrologist for last few years. They have performed endoscopy and colonoscopy on me twice. First endoscopy and coloscopy was performed in 2008 and now another colonoscopy is performed in 2011.

During first check up doctor diagonesed some kind of gastritis in stomach. It was treated and i did not eat any spices and just eating boiled food and salad for a month. It fixed my problem.

After 9 month or so the problem started occuring again. I have to go for bowel 3-4 in the early morning and 1-2 times during the day.

I tried auyurvedic churna etc, but that also upsets the stomach. I tried drinking 4-5 glass of water empty stomach but that also did not help.

If i eat any food which has indian spices it will upset my stomach and i get loose motions. If the food contains tomato or spinach etc it upsets my stomach too. Whenever in the night if i just only eat curd with rice it gives some relief next day.

In Januaray 2011 only colonscopy was done and doctor diagnonsed diverticulitis. He said it is not serious. I am currently taking antiboitcs, but my bowel movements are still irregular. I have to go 3-4 times in morning and 2-3 times during the day.

I take medicine for high blood pressure and cholestrol.

Please suggest the remedy for my problem.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is very likely that you are suffering from GERD (Gastro Esophagal Reflux disease) and I shall copy the therapy I have prescribed to hundreds of patients who presented GERD, the large majority of whom have been cured.

Your remedies are as follows:

Nat Phos 6x dose 3-4 tablets taken immediately after each of 2 meals
Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily.

You can expect relief from your ailment hopefully within 24 hours.
Do not eat large meals. Eat small meals but more often if you feel hungry.
It is important that you do not go to bed for at least 2 hours after dinner as food will take about this time to digest and it is best to stay awake and upright to enable your food to digest before going to bed.

No fatty food, alcohol, coffee, preserved meats like sausages, ham, bacon as they contain Saltpeter which will antidote the remedies listed immediately.

If you suffer from a stomach ache or you feel your stomach puffing up before a meal during the day between meals this is usually due to hunger pains, caused by your gastric juices attacking the inner wall of your stomach. The simple remedy is to eat some food like a biscuit or a banana to keep the gastric juice away from digesting the stomach wall when you will experience a stomach ache which in some cases can be very acute.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in a 5ml Ethanol pack also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this shaking must be done every time before sipping a capful of the bottle twice daily.

Please visit the links below which record the cases of other patients whom I have treated for GERD.

STOP using all other drugs and report progress in a week.

Dear Dr.Joe De Livera,

Thanks for your response.

I have few follow up questions. Please advice.

1) I take medicines(Atenolol and amlodipin,Lisinopril) for high blood pressure and Cholestrol, and it is well under control. Does Nat Pho and Arnica meds have any side effects with allopathy meds i am currently taking.Does it have any chances of aggravating high BP?

2) How long i need to take these medicines? Should i need to take these life long.

3)Where can i buys these meds? Is it available in this website.

Thanks again.

You can continue to take your drugs with the Arnica and Nat Phos and check your BP and Cholesterol and also your Triglyceride levels in about 3 months and report the difference you should observe in these levels at that time. You will of course reduce the drugs when you have evidence that my therapy aka 'Joepathy' is helping your ailments.

You can also take Nat Mur 6x dose 3 tablets thrice daily for your BP, and report the difference in your BP in a week.

Homeopathic remedies do not have any side effects on the patient and you can take the 2 remedies prescribed for life safely. You may like to know that I have been taking Arnica 30c in the Wet dose since 1996 nightly and at age 82 I can categorically state that I owe my present state of wellness to this remedy.

You can order these remedies from the ABC website.

Thank you Dr. Joe.

Sorry, i did not understand the Ethanol part. Does Arnica 30c comes up in 5 ml Ethanol pack? Or should we have to order the wet dose separately?

Just to make sure if i understand process correctly. Here is the steps i'll follow.

1) Take 3-4 tablets after every 2 meals.
2) Mix Arnica 30 C (3 drops) with wet dose (spring water bottle with ethanol).
3) Take capful of remedy prepared in step 2 twice daily.
4) Once the bottle is finished follow step 2-3 again.

Please verify.

You seem not to have understood what comprises the Wet dose.

You will order Arnica 30c in the Liquid Potency in Ethanol.
You will use just 3 drops of this remedy in a 400ml bottle of spring water. Please note that you cannot order it from the ABC store.
You will succuss the bottle by shaking it hard at least 6 times before you take a capful or a teaspoonful which is the dose twice daily.
The bottle will last over 2 months and after you finish it you will repeat the same protocol.

You will also take 3 tablets Nat Phos 6x tablets whole as prescribed.
You will also take 3 tablets Nat Mur 6x whole as prescribed.

Joe,

Ethanol is a new term for most patients, as I also see. Please consider saying 'Liquid dilution', which seems sufficient.

Thanks Bunch Dr. Joe.

I'll order these meds and report it back in few days the progress.

God Bless you.

Thanks Reva for the correction.

I really meant Liquid Dilution but I had typed Liquid Potency which made confusion worse confounded !

I hope that the patient understands the correct terminology which should read as 'Liquid Dilution'.

Do you suffer from any pain in the left lower quadrant of your abdomen?

What drugs did your doctor prescribe for this condition?

Continue with the Nat Phos and Arnica in the meanwhile.

Hi Joe,

I was prescribed anitbiotic along with probiotic, and now i don't take any of those.

These days i don't have any pain in the lower abodmen. It is just in the stomach i feel some uneasy if the bowel movements are more for the day.

I get some slight pain in the stomach in the morning before bowel movement, but goes away once i go through the series of bowels.

It is likely that the doctors you have consulted have not been able to identify your ailment and are prescribing drugs ad lib which are obviously dangerous for your body as this cannot be continued for ever since you state that you have suffered from this condition for many years.

'I am having frequent irregular bowel movement for long time now. I have been seeing gastroentrologist for last few years. They have performed endoscopy and colonoscopy on me twice. First endoscopy and coloscopy was performed in 2008 and now another colonoscopy is performed in 2011. '

I do not think that your condition is GERD and although you can safely take the Nat Phos 6x and the Arnica 30c although they do not seem to have helped you.

I do not know if you have been checked for Diverticulosis which can also cause the symptoms you have listed. This should have been identified during your last Colonoscopy but it is just as well to inquire from your doctor who performed this examination.

I shall be interested to have a list of the various drugs that you have been prescribed which can perhaps give me more information on the probable cause of your problem.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the response.

Yes, I have been diagonsed with Diverticulosis after second colonscopy. Dr. prescribed antibiotic and probotic. The medicines prescription was only one time and it is over, and now i am not taking any medicinces.

Dr asked me to take some precautions like avoid eating nuts etc. to avoid getting stuck in colon.

What are the drugs you were prescribed and for how many days did you take them?

Did they make any difference in your condition?

Joe De Livera last decade
Hi Joe,

I was prescribed AMOX TR-K CLV (875 -125 mg TAB). I had taken 1 tablet every day for 10 days. Along with this antibiotic i was also given off the counter probiotic 'Align'.

These medicines did not improve my conditions.

Hi Joe,

Hope you are keeping fine. I did not hear from you regarding the remedy for Diverticulosis.

Please provide the remedy. I still have frequeny bowel movements.

I am not a qualified doctor nor am I a qualified Homeopath and you have asked me to prescribe a drug for Diverticulosis.

I am aware that the 2 drugs listed below will help you but you will have to get a prescription from a doctor to get them from your pharmacy.

Flagyl (Metronidozole) 1 tablet taken thrice daily

Zinnat (Cefuroxime) 1 tablets to be taken after a meal twice daily
