URGENT help required
I am 45years old, male, and have suffered since childhood from asthma and ichthyosis. However, my asthma was never that severe and got treated immediately by a puff of the asthalin inhaler. 11years back, I was unlucky in getting introduced to a homeopath (who was practicing in the name of his popular homeopath father but we later realized he was himself not one) - his summation in the first interaction was that I had onion allergy, which was the reason for my asthma, and recurring cold symptoms. And he gave me a medicine which never seemed to treat but only worsened things.Subsequently, for 11years, I have suffered from a severe bloating in my stomach, sever indigestion, and severe asthmatic attacks requiring hospitalization at times (which was not the case earlier). I also started having hypertension, with blood pressure shooting upto 180 levels while I had no blood pressure earlier. No Doctor, allopath or homeopath, was able to diagnose the root cause of the problem. Which is why all cold and asthma medicines did not benefit. At times steroids during attacks also took a long time to respond and that also at high dosage only. I got fed up and started reading homeopathy books and observing all my symptoms. In these 3 years, after a lot of analysis, I did reach a conclusion that Onions were now causing me an allergy (which it was not 11 years back when I had met the homeopath??) and since all our food has onion, the bloating never goes. And whenever I took raw onion, the bloating was severe followed by flu, and respiratory problems.
The answer to onion allergy, I read was in Thuja. Past 2 months I have been taking Thuja 30, and things are under control. Bloating goes, hypertension reduces, flu related symptoms goes, skin dryness that was becoming severe also comes under control. However, after I stop Thuja, the problem restarts. I also started taking small doses (4globules 4x a day) of Allium Cepa to control the flu.I have observed that bloating also comes under control with Allium. However, if I exceed the dose to 2x in a gap of 15minutes, the same reaction happens in the body - hypertension and serious bloating with breathlessness.
Question - is there a way to permanently get this allergy out of my body? I am 100% convinced that the homeopath had given me some medicine which started this allergy in my body. I have no need to search more for other reasons as I have very closely observed and understood the cause and the symptoms.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Homoeopathy really is about finding the individual pattern of disease the person has, and matching one of our medicines to that. To get rid of this allergy (disease state) one would need to carefully map it, so that we can find a similar remedy.
If neither the Thuja or the All-c create permanent improvement, then it is likely you are simply palliating the symptoms by using them - it is possible that over time you can suppress the symptoms and create a more serious problem for yourself, so it is imperative that you find a better way to deal with it.
There are actually 38 remedies currently known to be aggravated by onions. In order to choose one of these more information may be needed.
So I take it you do not know what remedy this first homoeopath gave you?

Thank you. I do agree with the possibility you are stating. But have not found a permanent cure, or an alternative.
I do not know the medicine I was being given. I only heard that the man got arrested later because of complaints by some patients. But I had moved on to a new location, got busy with my job, his statements had faded from my memory and I was visiting other Doctors for a cure. It is only because of the severe state of frustration and depression(after having visited many doctors, who finally asked me to go for a walk as the solution - a rude joke!) that made me pick up the books and experiment. I thought things could not be worse and I was going to try with caution after reading well on the origin of the medicine, and with full knowledge of the antidotes. In India if they had allowed me to join a proper course on Homeopathy, I would have done that too...but rules here have some requirements which I do not fulfill.

Hi,
After reading your problems, a remedy comes to mind that is Natrum Sulph. Please explore.
This remedy fits right in with Thuja to cover your asthma and bloating.

Thanks, Nawaz, for the well thought suggestion. I have tried Nat Sulf amongst the first remedies and survived a difficult period, before I hit upon Thuja. Nat Sulf is another of those remedies that help control but does not treat this specific problem of allergic reaction. I am finally seeing my hope in All-cepa, and would do 30x for the first 3 days (the first day's experience was good), followed by 200x for 3 days, and then 1M single dose. Not sure if this dosage regimen is good! Views welcome.

BTW, what potency of Nat Sulph have you used and how many times, please give details?

Sorry wrong potency.
One must use 6x. In your case 200C, daily dose for 5 days.
You see potency selection is the heart of the whole thing in homoeopathy!
Also, Thuja 30C will not work for you too. You must go with the higher potencies.
