Please give me the repertorial result for the above symptom, i will select a remedy that fits her totality of symptoms.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Dear Kadwa

Causation would have been a great assistance.

With my limited repertorial resources(I do not have access to radar or similar sophisticated repertorial softwares currently) i think,

Lachesis, Stramonium, Conium, Agaricus, Causticum, Lyc., Kali-brom., Bar-c., Glonoine, Bell., Ant. cru., in that order are indicated for that small symptom.

Used Rubrics:

1) Mind, propensity, talk in rhymes, repeat verses, prophesy to.

Agar., ant. cru., Lach., stram.

2) Mind, repeats the same things

Lach., Platina.

3) Mind, speech.

4) Mind, speech,lost or paralysis(aphasia)

5) Mouth, speech.

6) Mouth, speech, stammering.

(This rubric has been used because usually some types of stammering will only allow to speak rhymes/repeated patterns but not usual speech.)

7) Mouth, speech, wanting.

Some rubrics are big and have a lot of remedies... can't type out, please bear with me. If you want please check them out with Kent's rep.

Hope that helps. You already know, that one symptom is a small picture and for a global picture, totality counts.

Hello Maheeru

Actually she suffered a paralytic attack and also lost her voice. She repeats devotional rhymes sung by her husband.

the following may be the causative factor...

1. she met her daughter for 15 days after a long gap and she may not meet her again with any level of certainty. Her daughter lives life of a recluse.

2. she used to observe fast every alternate day. She might have had low BP and that could have resulted in the paralytic attack.

She had normal menstruation cycles and still has normal menstruation. She is 48 years old.

In this case i can't ask personal questions which we can to a forum participant with non-personal id.

Her family members say that she has a mild disposition.

What do you think?

i have started ayurvedic medication and there is some response.

Dear Kadwa

Is it possible to get any or all of the following information?

Was it a stroke?

If it's a Paralytic attack then what other organs are involved?(is there any direction involved like upper body, lower body, crosswise, one-sided etc)

Is she able to use the tongue and mouth for movement and eating, swallowing etc? Does she have sense on those organs?

Can we find out anything about her temperature preferences/tolerance and if there are any cravings/aversions in general?

My tentative choice with the limited info. would be Lachesis.

Dear Maheeru,

They did the investigations after the paralytic attack. There was no blood clot or internal haemorrhage. There was some evidence of arteriosclerosis. She is doing well under the influence of ayurvedic remedies. There has been reconstruction of paralysed muscles as her hand appears much like a normal hand now. She also makes some movements with her affected hand. She is walking normally now.

She was given Lachesis 200 and it helped her obstinate constipation. The remedy also might have helped her overall.

Thanks and Regards.

That's good news :) I'm happy for you and your patient.

With Lachesis, potency may be upped gradually.

Mild physio therapy may also help her.

Is she able to speak?

Dear Maheeru,

She has a peculiar symptom. She moves her hand like a normal person in her sleep and while yawning. But when she is conscious she won't do that even if the muscles have grown back.
There is some improvement in her speech but not much. Again there is no problem in repeating rhymes sung by her hub.
She is patient 835 and you may see her full treatment details at my blog.

Best Regards.

Dear Kadwa

Is the movement of hand occasional one or continous one during sleep/yawning?

Has the potency been upped to 1M?

Also speech therapy as suggested by Mujtaba Hussain can also be given.

It was a normal movement during sleep. The movements that all of us make for changing sides etc and observed by the one who is awake.

She has gone to her hub's place now. She was staying at her brother's residence. Many ladies don't prefer staying long at their parent's home after marriage.

i couldn't give her Lachesis 1M.

Thanks for all your help.

Best Regards.

Ok. After Lachesis I see she might need phos.

I could have posted my previous post a while earlier. It might have helped you.

You put her on path of recovery which is a good thing. You might give her brother the further course of instruction.....they might continue your suggestions in the best case.

Welcome.

Dear Maheeru,

It is not possible to serve a patient through phone calls. They seek advice for any problem that they may encounter. They may take a long time to say what they want and may keep on telling everything irrelevant.
It is always safe to give advice when the patient is there to provide all information needed for follow up.
All NGOs should give serious thought on implementing a model like abchomeopathy.
That should substantially reduce cost of medication and make people more informed about their health options.

Thanks !!

Dear Kadwa

There are homeopaths who do phone consults alone. But it requires more patience to find out the real symptoms :)

Of course it's easy and effective when patients are there to provide follow up regularly.

'All NGOs should give serious thought on implementing a model like abchomeopathy. '

Innovative idea but the effort might be bogged down by executive delays and legal hassles.

If homeopathy is taken to rural areas and 500 million + people are served, there could be a huge low cost relief to suffering people and also a huge database of homeopathy can be created. This can't happen at the level of government, we need more people like owners of abchomeopathy.
